Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge #41

This weeks sketch immediately made me think of this big snowflake that I have not used yet. Glad to get it out of the box and make something with it. the card is really a simple one but I think it is cute. I added a glittery shimmer around the snowflake that is not really visiable on the picture unless it is enlarged. This is also the first time I am using this hostess set. So much stuff an so little time--I am sure I am not alone in this crazy addiction. Anyway, we gave a nasty storm hitting us and the lights have flickered a few time already so I better get down to business before we loose power. Here is my card.....

and the sketch. I am excited to see what everyone does with this one. I have so many ideas, hopefully I will get a few more done before the week is out.

I would love it if you played along. If you do please post a comment here with a link so I can sha1re it with everyone else. And if you post on SCS (which I always forget to do) please use the key word TSSC41.

Be sure to stop back around noon EST to see what the team did with the sketch.

I will be right back with my featured stamper challenge card-storm willing. At least I got this one up!

Super Cute MJ - that snowflake die worked perfectly! Glad to hear you didn't lose your power. We've had bad winds all day - DS#2 was headed home from his school trip to DC and ended up delayed 1-1/2 hours due to the weather.

Looks like we both have snow on the brain. Better there than in the air.... I love your card and can't wait to use my new snowflake die too! I may have to CASE ya! ;-)

Here's my card. I sorta cheated -- copied your snowflake (though mine is smaller) & used a rub-on instead of stamping. But, hey.... imitation is the best form of flattery no?!? :)
