Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 146!

OK so I dropped my camera in a puddle while trick or treating with my son.  Not even sure where the puddle came from as it was not raining???  But it is drying off and I hope that it will work tomorrow.  But that means I can not photograph my sample but I do have the sketch and want to have that posted on time so here it is....

I hope you will chose to play along this week!  I love to see all the great ideas.  Don't forget to leave your DIRECT link below after you post your card. Happy Stamping!

Royal Blog Tour Coming Soon!

What happended to Friday??

Late for my blogger's challenge.  This week Lisa wanted us to do a Halloween theme.  These pictures are about 4 years old.  Can't find a date so I am guessing.  Don't that stink!  I so remember they "photo shoot" though.  Woody wanted to try out ever piece of his military costume.  How fun!

This really was a fun layout to do.  All supplies are Stampin up, although many are retired.  Got to run, have a morning workshop and need to shower.  Have a great weekend!  If you have some free time check out what the other players did with the challenge by clicking the logo on my sidebar.

Me and My Kindle!

I love my Kindle. I have it with me at all times. I have both audio books and regular books on it. Along with some reference books. It is one of the best investments I have ever made. Since I have been wanting to do a book of Me for so long I decided that this would be the first page I make.I used all items from my My Digital Studio.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Monday Lunchtime Sketch challenge 145!

Well, I think I may be finally getting caught up--at least as caught up as I ever am.  I am happy to begin a new week, which means a new sketch challenge here and a new challenge on Latenightstampers too.  Since I run both challenges I often (almost always) combine them.  This week is no different.  The challenge at Latenightstampers this week is to Think Pink in honor of breast cancer awareness month--hence all the pink on my sample.  Here is the new sketch....

And my sample ...

Stamps:  Friends 24/7 and God's Blessings
Paper: Blushing Bride, Whisper White, in color dp
Ink: Blushing Bride, Basic Black
Other: nestabilities, scallop border punch

Nice and clean and simple.  I hope you will find time this week to play along.  The more the merrier.  I love to see your samples.  Be sure to come back and add you link below if you do play.

Have a fantastic week!

Hip to be square! Well kinda

Here are a couple of quick square cards for this week's challenge on Latenightstampers.  They are both pretty basic, have not really felt too much like stamping since coming home from my trip.  Not sure why--except for that I have a lot of other things to catch up with so may be that is just it in a nut shell.  Anyway, here are my cards.  Both cards are 4 1/4 inch squares.  I prefer this size because it is so easy to make envelopes for.  This first one is using Flight of the Butterfly and the butterfly punch.

This next card is using the beautiful embossing folder Elegant Lines.  I went around one side with a white gel pen and the other side with a peach parfait pen.  Added a few pearls and a sentiment and that is it.  As I said both are easy cards.

Thanks for stopping by I hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Monday Lunchtime Sketch #144

Welcome to another week of the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge here on Technostamper.  This week's post is coming to you live from Washington DC. I am vacationing with my son.  It is so beautiful and we are having a fabulous time.

Here is this week's sketch...

and here is my sample...

I am gonna keep this really short and sweet!  I used the Just Believe Stamp set and the new in colors.  I really love these colors--I know I've said it before but I really do.

I hope that you will find time to play along this week.  The top three from last week will be late, I do not have access to the program I generally use for it.  If you do find time to play please come on back and add your link below!  It really does make my day to see you play along.  We are temporarily back to Mister Linky.

Have a great week!

Blogger's Challenge--Black, White and Orange

Today Lisa gave us a color challenge, I didn't want to do Halloween so I thought about the beautiful Peach Parfait color we have in our in colors this this.  And went from there.  Such a simple card, but yet, I like it.

The stamps are retired but I still love them.  Polka Dot Posies (I think).  And we really do not have too many of these long sentiments in the catalog anymore--or am I missing them, lol.  Well keeping it short today, got to run.

Digital Scrapbooking with My Digital Studio!

I joined a new group today that does challenges for scrapbooking.  I am determined to do more both regular and digital.  So I have done two challenges so far.  I will share one today and one tomorrow.  By the way the group is called Soul Scrappers.  The first challenge I did was a color challenge.  The colors were So Saffron, Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black and Basic Gray.  I actually did a two page layout of my son's first day of school pictures.

You can click on the images to see bigger pictures....

I may actually learn to like this digital scrapbooking think.  All images and items are from My Digital Studio from Stampin Up!  And no mess to clean up at the end, now that is NICE!  Hope you have a great day.

Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 143!

Oh yea!  Here we go again, this sketch made me think twice but once I started I quickly come up with two samples for you.  It is funny I do the sketches ahead of time and then look at them and am always surprised and sometimes even wonder what the heck I was thinking, lol!

Here is the new sketch--I sure hope you can sneak in a few minutes this week to play along!

That bottom bow is HUGE??  Wonder what I was thinking there--fancy? Large? Who knows.  I do have two samples for you though.  Both of them are also for this week's Latenightstampers challenge too!  The challenge there this week is Birthday's.

This first card is so cute.  I love these in colors and I love using Tess with other stamps. Isn't she fun with those striped pants?!

Stamps: Totally Tess, Birthday Bliss
Paper: Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait, Poppy Parade, Whisper White
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait, Poppy Parade, Basic Black
Other: ribbon, circle scissors plus, Stamp a Ma Jig

This next one is another fun color combo.  Can you tell I am in a bright mood today, lol!  Concord Crush and Daffodil Delight!  Beautiful together don't you think? The ribbon lace was wrapped around a robe I got for Christmas last year and I know I would use it "someday".  Not even a year, not bad!

Stamps:  Just Believe. Label Classics
Paper: Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Hostess in color paper pack
Ink: Basic Black
Other: ribbon punch, jumbo brad, ribbon (recycled) markers, circle scissors plus

As I said above I hope you find time to play along, when you do don't forge to head back here to link up so we can all view your sample!

Here's to a fabulous week.
No school for my son tomorrow so I know mine is starting off great with time spent with him!

Today's Featured Stamper Challenge on Stampin Connection.

Today's featured stamper on Stampin Connection is Doris Denman's.  She is the creator (at least that is where I seen it) of this adorable acorn made from the ornament punch.  Her card was much much nicer and actually had an elegant feel, but mine is cute and easy.

Stamps: Animal Crackers, Lovely as a Tree, Autumn Harvest
Paper: More Mustard, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip,  Soft Suede
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Other: makers, oval punches, ornament punch, word windo punch, embossing folder

Have a fabulous day, I will be back later with the new sketch challenge for the week!

Everything is peachy!

Wow, I haven't posted since Monday!  YIKES, believe it or not I have been sick again!  Not sure what the heck it up.  Allergies and Sinus to the worst degree.  I am NEEDING the weather to change one way or the other, this constant back and forth thing is killing me.  But the good news is I got some new meds that seem to be helping and I also got the flu shot while I was at it before I get that silly thing again, lol.

So I figure what better time to jump back in than Friday and our Blogger's challenge.  I combined mine with the Latenightstamper's challenge to use in-colors.  This of course is mostly using Peach Parfait.  Hence the title of my post!   This week Lisa (our BC mom) gave us a sketch to work with.  I adore the sketch and I will be using it again and again.  This card was a under 10 minute card but I would love to use this sketch again when I have more time to play.  Don't forget that you can visit the other players and see what they designed with the sketch by clicking HERE.

Here is the sketch...

And here is my card, as you can see I flipped the sketch.

Stamps: Season of Friendship, Teeny Tiny Pieces
Paper: Peach Parfait, Hostess in color dp pack, Whisper White
Ink: Chocolate  Chip, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz
Other: three punch pack, markers

Fast and easy, hope you have a great weekend.

Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 142

And we are off and running on a brand new week!  The last few Sundays have been crazy busy, I don't like crazy Sundays--they are supposed to be by family quite days!  Although I did spend time with family, the day was not quiet, lol.  Anyway we are moving right along and that means it is time for another sketch challenge.  I have two cards for you this week, one is a double challenge and it is also part of , you guessed it, the Latenightstamper's Challenge.  This week we will be focusing on the new in colors!  I just love them so this will be an easy one for me.  So with out further babbling here is the sketch..

And my two samples....

The birthday one is using the builder wheels, I have not used them too much, not sure why.  I love the colors on this card though, they are so festive and scream birthday--to me anyway!

Stamps:  Candle Crazy Wheel, Birthday Bliss
Paper: Real Red, Bashful Blue, Pacific Point, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, pacific Point, Pear Pizzazz, Bashful Blue, Real Red
Other: makers, embossing folder, ribbon

The second card is using all in colors. So it is for the Latenightstampers challenge too!

Stamps:  Flight of the Butterfly
Paper: Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, in color dp pack
Ink: Pear Pizzazz,  Poppy Parade, Basic Black
Other: embossing folder, butterfly punch, ribbon

I would love it if you play along with me this week.  If you do don't forget to come back and add you link at the end of this post!  Thanks for stopping by today--have a wonderful week!

Crazy fast and easy Halloween Treats!

I don't know about you but so many times I start to make treats for my son's class and then realize they are a lot more complicated than I thought  for making so many.  These won't leave you feeling that way, you could easily make multiples and not even work up a sweat, lol!

The first one is also for the Featured Stamper Challenge on Stampin Connection.  This week we are featuring Linda Creech. What a fun gallery she has.  I was inspired by her tic tac holders.  Although mine look nothing like hers, lol!

I think these ghosts made with the owl punch are just too cute.  The pumpkin is made with the 1 3/8 inch circle punch.  Inside is a pack of orange tic tacs.  The pumpkin face is from the Autumn Harvest set.

This next one is just a quick match book type treat holder.  It has a individual size pack of M&M's.  So easy just wheeled the Haunting jumbo wheel across the front.   I also sponged some extra black ink to fill the opens spaces.

Both of these also fit this week's Latenightstamper's challenge--treat holders.  Come on over and play along.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
