Hmm, new computer last week, new internet provider yesterday, big headaches all over.  I wanted to post this one time but I don't have all my software on my new computer yet so my sample will be a bit late--I am too tired to do any more.  Takes too stinkin long to add all that stuff!

Anyway, this is the sketch for this week...

Hope you find time to play along!  Remember it is now a blog hop!  So after clicking on the link to enter following the directions to add the code and you will be part of the hop!

Just Believe! Please Believe!

It may happen if EVERYONE would JUST BELIEVE. Ok maybe I am pushing it a bit, but I have had more than enough of this stinkin snow! PLEASE make it go away! Even the snowman wants to see the sun, lol.
Today's Blogger Challenge was a sketch challenge. Hop on over to Lisa's blog to see the original sketch. Because of the mood I am in I decided to take a look around my studio to find something I have not used in a LONG time. I found a whole bunch of large vanilla envelopes with tons of stamped images from swaps or just from friends sharing and this image really spoke to me. I only had one of it so I could not do too much besides color but it seemed perfect anyway for my frame of mind, lol. If you happen to know who this stamp is by let me know so I can edit this post. Not sure if it is digial or regular or even where the heck I got it from. Anyway, on to the blogger's challenge blog hop! Be sure to check out all the samples--these ladies are creative!

Here is my card....

I am sure you notice that I took this picture out side and of course you see all that stinkin white stuff around.  My summer chair is already out because I was enjoying the beautiful Spring like weather just a little bit ago--no a funny joke mother nature!!!!
At least the sun is out! That is a positive!

Thursday Linky Party--Stampin Up! Style-Nature Walk

A brand new item on my blog.  So new that I actually forgot to post last week, lol! Each week I will be having a Linky Party!  Who doesn't love a party.  Especially when it involves Stampin Up products!  Here is how it will work.....

Thursday Technostamper Linky Party week 2
Each week I will pick a new stamp set to feature.  You can hop over and find out what the set of the week is and then you can link up any and all samples you have with the set!  That's right, you can make new ones or link up older ones.  As long as they use the stamp set of the week you are good to go.  What a great resource this could be!  I hope you will link up.
This week we will be linking up cards and projects with the

Nature Walk!

This set is so beautiful!  I just got it so I only have two samples so far and they are the same but different.  I am excited to see what you have done with this set.  I know I will have a lot to chose from I have seen tons of great cards with it.  Won't you share yours?  Go find your samples  NOW and link up! Put your name or blog name in the title of the picture it will help people get to know your work. Also PLEASE link directly to the sample you are sharing and not to your entire blog.  Items not linked properly will be deleted to keep it fun no one wants to search and search it is supposed to be easy!

Here are my two cards to start us off...
Both of my cards are using the same theory.   I wanted to bird on the front with a "window to the inside"  Both are done using different elements to see which I liked better.  The first one uses the Movers and Shapers die and the bird is stamped on scrap, cut out an attached.  The second one is using a craft knife and the bird is stamped directly on the front of the card and then I cut around it.  I think I like the Movers and Shapers better.  What do you think?

Don't forget to link up your samples below!  Thanks so much for playing along!

One more card for the LNS challenge!

My absolute favorite thing about the MDS is that we can finally have Stampin Up sentiments for the insides of our cards.  I have yet to figure out whey companies that make stamps for card making do not make stamps for the inside of card.  Sure we have a few but I can not use the same sentiment inside every birthday card I make for goodness sake.  So any way all this jabber about inside sentiments and my card today shows a MDS generated outside sentiment, lol!  Go figure.  It is my last card for this week's challenge on Latenightstampers.  Our theme for the week is Easter or Spring creations.  Hope you enjoy!

It is not a Easter card, just a friend card.  everyone needs a Friend who is ALL ears!  Too cute.  The supplies used for this card are as follows:

Stamps:  Animal Stories
Paper:  Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzaz, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, scrap dp
Ink: Basic Black
Other: MDS, ribbon punch, tulip embossing folder markers

Hope you have a great day.  I will be back later with the Top three for the week's sketch challenge and the brand new challenge for next week!  See ya then.

Even the dog's celebrate Easter!

I had so much fun making this card.  I love how it turned out.  Great combo of stamp sets if I do say so myself, lol!  This is again for the Latenightstamper's challenge to create Spring/Easter projects.

This card is done with watercolor paper, markers and a blender pen.  I think it is just adorable!  Don't you?!

Stamps:  Loads of Love accessories, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Friends Fur Ever
Paper: Bashful Blue, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz, Water color paper
Ink: Basic Black
Other:  markers, blender pen, tulip border embossing folder

Have a great day!

Think Spring!

I am so ready for warm weather!  This week on Latenightstampers we are making cards or projects for Spring and Easter.  I love Spring cards.  It is always so fun to move on the the pretty pastels and more colors.  Get tired of the winter colors pretty fast, lol.  My first sample for this challenge is also using the MDS for the sentiment.  That is probably one of my favorite things about MDS it allows me to make my own sentiments and still be using current SU stuff!  NICE!  Anyhow--on to my Spring card--it is actually a birthday card...

This is such an easy little guy to make too.  I used one scallop circle punch for the wings.  A 1 3/4 inch circle for the body and a boho blossom punch flower for the feathers on top.  The legs are just hand drawn.  To make the eyes, I used a new pencil and used the eraser end like a stamp.  Then added the white dots with my gel pen.  The beak is just a triangle of peach parfait.  Too cute.

Speaking of Spring and Easter designs don't forget about my Easter tutorials.  Click on the pictures for more details.  Both are only $2 each.

Hope you are having a great day!

Combining Challenges again.

It is Friday so that of course means our Blogger's Challenge group will be making some great cards for you enjoyment and you can play along too if you wish since it is now a blog hop!  Our challenge theme for the week is Birthdays!  Can't get any easier than that.  I combined my sample with two other challenges.  One being the Latenightstamper's challenge to use a bit O' green and the other being a one on one swap challenge card to use the colors Always Artichoke and River Rock.  Not sure why but I really do not use River Rock much so I am grateful for the chance to do so.  I was looking to make an elegant yet simple card and I really think I did just that!  Don't you love when that happens, lol!  Anyway enough chatter, here is my card....

and the inside too (I don't show you the inside much just because I am so stinkin lazy, lol)

Hope you enjoy checking out all the samples.  Have a great day!  TGIF!
