How cool is this?

Isn't this a brilliant idea? I seen this scallop punch coneflower on Connie's blog INKspired Treasures and knew I had to try it. I combined it with sketch number 9 on Sara's Desperate Stamper blog. What fun. Be sure to check out both of those blogs for lots of other beautiful items of inspiration. Here is the sketch from Sara's blog, I am falling farther behind every day!

List of supplies used. Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate, Summer Sun and Close to Cocoa card stock. Garden Green and Pumpkin Pie ink. Summer Sun and Close to Cocoa markers. Circle punch, scallop circle punch misc. sticky white button type thingys (how that for a descriptive name). Stamp Sets: Polka Dots & Paisley, Just Like You and the retired Brighter Tomorrow and Art of Life.

Hope you enjoyed my card. Thanks Connie and Sara for the inspiration.

  2. Great take on Connie's idea -- but honestly, I think you took that sketch to a whole new level. This is outstanding, Mary Jo!

  4. This is a wonderful card. I love 3-D cards, but many are too complicated. The coneflower and the multi-dimensional look just by the stamping you used are wonderful. Thanks for sharing it.
