As usual the weekend went by way too fast so I am a bit relieved that I was able to create my card for this week's sketch in less than 15 minutes from start to finish! You have to love those types of cards. And it is really pretty as simple as it is.
Here is the sketch..
I told you it was an easy one this week. I actually made two cards but I will post my other one later, I have not had a minute to get a picture of it yet. Now for my card. I had to flip the sketch on its side to accommodate this beautiful stamp set from Our Daily Bread Designs. This is one of her newest sets called First Holy Communion. It is just beautiful! And the really really really good news is that I am going to be giving someone this set for FREE! Yep, I have an extra one that I will be giving away as Techno Takeout -- watch for my post later today!
Isn't this card so pretty even though it is so simple. I stamped the image first in Pale Plum and then stamped the words over the top in Perfect Plum. Just beautiful and so perfect for Communion cards and well as others too.
Other supplies used: cuttlebug background, nestabilities dies and half pearls.
I need to post a bit early today because I have to be somewhere at noon so we only have two players at the moment but they are both inspiring. I will post my other card along with the Techno-Takeout later today -- and any other players that my have missed my early deadline.
Just beautiful! Love the pearls.
ReplyDeleteYou're early and I am late! My sketch challenge is up -- and your card is wonderful! I am thankful for your sketches. I love doing them every week!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful music this morning, too.

Thanks MJ for the great and easy sketch. I'm not a oval person and I just received my Square Nesties! So I really wanted to use them. I just never follow the rules! LOL! Have a great day and hopefully no more Migranes. Cynthia
