It's Out Of Here! A Grand Slam!

In keeping with the theme of yesterday's post -- the triple play, today is a Grand Slam! This post is covering 5 challenges!

First is the BC83- color challenge- red, black, kiwi and white
Second is the BC82 which I missed last week-- same but different
(you can see the other player's challenge cards by clicking the logo on the sidebar)
Third is the MoJo Monday Sketch Challenge 70 both cards use this sketch
(You can find this sketch HERE)
Fourth is that both of these cards are 100% Stampin Up and are part of my Your Hired cards
(You can see what the other people who are hired are doing by clicking
there names on the sidebar)
Fifth is a mini tutorial on how to do the scallop edge on the first card with Stampin Up punches

So let's get started.

First up, is the color challenge card. These colors are so fun. The Kiwi looks great with the black and or the Red!

Stamps: A Flower for All Seasons
Paper: Real Red, Basic Black, Kiwi Kiss, Real Red texture, Bella Rose dp and Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black
Other: red brads, white gel pen, markers, 1 1/2 circle punch, scallop circle punch, tool kit, ruler, Coluzzle

Next up is the make up for last week's same but different challenge. I used the same layout and the same stamp set!

What a different feel, huh?

Stamps: A Flower for All Seasons and Pocket Silhouettes
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Gable Green, (base of card, don't sho up well in pic) Green Galore, Whisper White and Rainbow Sherbet dp
Ink: Basic Black and Green Galore
Other: markers, green galore and pretty in pink brads, mat pack paper piercer, Coluzzle

Now for the mini tutorial on the scallop edge on the first card.

You will begin with the 1 1/2 inch circle punch and punch a circle in your card stock

Next you will use your scallop circle punch and by looking at the bottom you will line it up so that you will get a very thin scallop circle frame. See below.

After punching you will have this. See below.

Now you just need to snip it between scallops and attach to whatever you want the scallop on. This will also work on a straight edge, but of course we already have a punch for that! These do make a smaller scallop though. See below for how I attach. I just run my adhesive around the edge and the attach.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Mary Jo
