It seems like it was just Friday yesterday, lol. I have still not even finished visiting the whole list of players from last week and it is time for another challenge. This week Lisa wanted us to make a patriotic card-appropriate to this time of year. I have been struggling with my MoJo as of late and do not like this but do not really have time to re-do it so it is what it is. Be sure to click on the blogger's challenge logo on the top right hand corner of my blog to visit all the players. I KNOW their cards will rock as they always do! I am tired and can't wait to hit the pillow.
Stamps: Service and Sacrifice
Paper: Night of Navy, Pacific Point (love that this color is back) Real Red and Whisper White.
Ink: Pacific Point and Real Red
Other: star punch, white gel pen, markers, tool kit
Hope you have a wonderful Friday--TGIF!!!!
Mary Jo
Cute, great use of the card stock panels for your background.
ReplyDeleteLove the card. Hope you are able to find some inspiration (and maybe energy too) as you relax this holiday weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove the "waves" of red, white, blue and the faux stitching. Great patriotic card!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! Happy July 4th.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a wonderful card. It perfectly fits the sentiment. Hopefully it'll look better to you in the morning.
ReplyDeleteI love the waves of cardstock in the background and how you popped up your star! Happy 4th!
ReplyDeleteLove the wavy stripes!
ReplyDeleteGreat job...I love the reverse star punched image! I know what you mean..."other" people seem to slow down in the summer, I just seem to get busier! lol!
ReplyDeleteVery festive! Love what you did with the flag looking background!
ReplyDeleteVery Nice MaryJo, I like how you did the background paper like waves of a flag. Sometimes we are just to hard on ourselves, I struggled this week with my card for the DT that I'm on.
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th!
We are our worst critics- I think you did a great job on the challenge- love the white gel pen accents and the star cut-out. Hope you have a fun and safe 4th!
ReplyDeleteThis turned out lovely Mary Jo! It's a wonderful design! I'm so glad that Pacific Point is back too! PS. I'm with you...bring back those lazy days of Summer! We are really trying to do that here!
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous! Clean and simple, but stunning! Love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, hope you had some "me" time this weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love the reverse punch treatment!! You are always sooo creative!!
ReplyDeleteLove the layout and the reverse star image! I really like your card! Hope you get some rest and feel more creative, although I think this card is really good!!
