Hip to be square! Well kinda

Here are a couple of quick square cards for this week's challenge on Latenightstampers.  They are both pretty basic, have not really felt too much like stamping since coming home from my trip.  Not sure why--except for that I have a lot of other things to catch up with so may be that is just it in a nut shell.  Anyway, here are my cards.  Both cards are 4 1/4 inch squares.  I prefer this size because it is so easy to make envelopes for.  This first one is using Flight of the Butterfly and the butterfly punch.

This next card is using the beautiful embossing folder Elegant Lines.  I went around one side with a white gel pen and the other side with a peach parfait pen.  Added a few pearls and a sentiment and that is it.  As I said both are easy cards.

Thanks for stopping by I hope you are enjoying your weekend!

  1. I have to say, this is the first card that I have liked using the Elegant Lines EF. I wasn't that excited about it when it came out and haven't been crazy about much I've seen with it, but this card is lovely! The gel pen really makes it for me.

Don't worry about lack of mojo--you'll get caught up on your schtuff and then the creativity will kick back in. ;)
