Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 149!

One week away from 150 sketches!  WOW!  I am amazed I have lasted this long doing these.  I really enjoy seeing what you make with the sketches.  It is fun for me too as I do the sketches so far in advance that I am surprised by the sketch each week too, lol!  This week is an easy one.  I went for a Christmas theme since I seem to be in that mode lately with all my classes and such.  I am close to having all my cards done!  YIPPEE!  So I bet you just want to see the sketch, right?!  Well here it is...

And here is my sample.

I finally got to use some of those red snowflakes!  I was not sure what to do with them but they look cute on this card to bring out a bit more of the red.

Stamps:  Scenic Season and one of the seaside sketches for the sentiment.  The letters are from the retired alphadots set, they fit perfectly in the build a brads.
Paper: Old Olive, Whisper White, DP
Ink: Old Olive, Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler
Other: felt snowflakes, build a brads, glue, glitter, embossing folder

I hope you have time to play along this week--I can see so many great possibilities with this sketch.  Remember to come on back and leave your link below so we can all view your projects.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, may you have a blessed week!
Mary Jo

  2. What a GREAT card Mary Jo! Such a nice contemporary feel to your card. You know...I have GOT to get some better lighting in my stamping area...I didn't realize that it was a two piece bottom layer!

I LOVE the snowflakes behind the Joy--don't know if I have many of those left , but it give me an idea of how to use it for the Bingo chips set. Thanks for a great sketch.
