Sad day--no Flashback Post today.

Sorry there is no flashback post today--I have had a really bad week--my dog got really sick--then had emergency surgery and unfortunately at 2am this morning she died in my arms.  I am so sad. 

RIP my Tanner Girl--say hi to Uppie when you see him.
We have lost two dogs in less than six months.  The first was 13 years old and in bad shape but this one was only 8 year old and full of joy and so playful and loving--she will be sorely missed.

    Mary Jo I am so sorry for you and your family in the loss of your furbaby. It's never easy but to be hit by that kind of loss twice in a short 6 month period is worse yet. You are in my thoughts, hugs to you all.

    I am so sorry to hear that you have lost 2 members of your family. My heart breaks for your loss as we, too lost our loyal and loving four legged loved one. When I call the dogs to go outside, I still find myself calling his name because he wasn't with the others.

    I'm so very sorry for your loss. Our dogs become such important members of our families. When you are ready, check our the "Rainbow Bridge." It's a beautiful poem that has given me comfort in the loss of my fur babies. Will be praying for you and your family.

    Terrible :( We are having problems with one of our dogs - she had 4 seizures yesterday and the vet can't figure out what's causing them. I feel your pain - a big hug from me!

    Oh Mary Jo....I am sooo very sorry for the loss you and your family are experiencing now. Think many of us have gone through this but to have to endure it two times in such a close period of time is even worse! She was beautiful and know that your huge hurt and empty space her loss has left will be filled with many wonderful memories of her time with your family! Sending big hugs to you!
