Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 310 (TSSC310)

What a beautiful day we had here today.  Seventy two degrees and sunny!  Got to love it.  Of course it would not be Buffalo if they were not calling for SNOW on Tuesday--really -- the poor plants and animals must be so confused, lol!  Crazy--but as I always say.... It is what it is!

So how about the new sketch challenge for this week.  I think you guys are going to do wonderful things with this one.

Here is my sample for this week. I have had this Another Great Year set for quite a while and have not used it--don't I seem to say that a lot?! So I thought it needed to get inked up and feel the love.

I just noticed that I used the same colors as the sketch--and I have no ribbon--I did it from memory so it is pretty close my scallop can be my ribbon--what I love about sketches--it is really a starting point you can flip or change as long as you keep the main idea!

Stamps: Another Great Year
Paper: Coastal Cabana, Basic Black, Whisper White and Retro Fresh DP
Ink: Basic Black
Other: faux brads, Tasteful Trim Die, Doily

Now for the rest of the teams samples....

Some things never change.  The team always does such a great job with the sketches!  Love these samples.  Now it is your turn to play along--when you are done come on back and leave your DIRECT link on the linky tool below.  Here are a few basic rules of play....
  1. You have a full week to play along!
  2. Create a new card using the sketch as your inspiration.
  3. Use any products you choose.
  4. Add your card to your blog or other on-line spot and link back to this challenge.
  5. Come back here and add a direct link to your sample for the challenge and NOT you home page of your blog--people will not look for your challenge card--trust me.
  6. And this one is not really a rule but a request--get rid of that word verification!  It makes it hard for us to comment on your samples.  It is easier for you to delete the spam then for us to jump through tons of hoops to comment.  If your put your comments on moderation you do not have to worry about spam--you will have the option to delete it BEFORE it ever goes on your blog so you will ALWAYS be safe!
  7. Have fun and tell you friends to play too!

    Thanks, Mary Jo

  1. Mary Jo I love this sketch and love all the samples. Sorry I was unable to get one finished. Went to VA for the weekend to see my grand daughter compete in her cheering and of course was going to do a digital one and only got it half done. I am going to try and do a real one prior to the end and link it up. Love your sample and love that stamp set.

  3. I saw the sketch on my feed and liked it so decided to go with it first and then came to have a look at what all everyone created. I'm kinda aghast at what I've submitted after all the beautiful projects I see from the DT and the other participants. I went and had a closer look at each one and these are just fabulous! xx
