Take Two Tuesday Week 2

Here we go.....week number two in my new series.

I am so happy you stopped by today to check out week two and I am excited about this week's cards so I am going to jump right in.  Although both of my cards use flower sets and the same layout they have a very different look and feel--don't you agree?

The new card uses the beautiful Blossoming Basket Bundle that you can earn for free with a $100 purchase--both the stamp set and the amazing new embossing folder.

Simply beautiful--even prettier when stamped.  I decided to go with traditional red roses.  My favorite--so pretty.

It was hard to photograph all the texture on this card because of the black background--not sure what made me pick these colors but I think it turned out pretty!

This was such a fun and easy image to color.  I want this beautiful basket on my table!  What are you thoughts about having no traditional white background?

Here is the old card--I can not even think of the name of this set.  I know it was one of my favorites.  I love the color combo too--

Notice the brads--I think I used them on each and every card I made back then--and the paper piercer!  Or the "poinker thing" as the girls in my class used to call it.  Do you remember the name of this set?

So here is the weekly question...
DO YOU LIKE THE OLD OR NEW CARD BETTER???

Here are the supplies used on the new card

  1. Love the color combo on your "new" card! But I have to say, I vote for the "old" card. I have just been remembering when chocolate chip was "the" color to have on a card. The dp, the stamp set and the brads make me feel nostalgic for all of the SU magic of that era.
