I just LOVE this stamp set. (more about it below) And how fun is this technique. I stamped the light house twice and then cut the center part into three small squares. I gently rubbed the edges on the Basic Black pad so that they would stand out more and then popped them up on the other image so that it spilled over! It is so pretty in real life. As with the last sample I posted with this set (here) I kept it simple to show off the beautiful set. I can not begin to tell you how much I love this scripture it is so inspiring -- wouldn't this be a great graduation or confirmation card? Here is an up close view of the focal image.
Stamp set used: Light of the World from Our Daily Bread you can find it here.
As a side note: The customer service and shipping are super! I can't wait to see what else she has in store for us! I know I could use some more Christian stamps so I am excited about this company.
Papers: Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, Basic Black and Blue Bayou dp
Ink: Blue Bayou and Basic Black
Other: faux black brads from Jo Ann's

WOW is all I can say! This card is SO gorgeous! I am glad you did finish it!
ReplyDeleteI love how you did that. What a great card. I tried to find your email address on your blog so I could ask you a question but don't see it so I will ask you here. I wanted to know it is okay to post links on your blog to the things we make with your sketches after that weeks sketch is over.
ReplyDeleteThat card is amazing! I love what you did with the layers!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I finally was able to post Sketch 10. In the same post I also have a card for 11. Thanks for the great sketches.
