Well, while I was fooling around with classes last night my counter hit 10,000 hits! I am amazed at this since I just gave away something for 5,000. Thanks to all of you who visit my blog and a super special thanks to all that leave me comment. There are many of you who send me private e-mails in stead of posting your comments on the blog and that is fine! It makes a girl feel good to hear that someone enjoys her work. As I have said in previous posts not only do I love to give stuff away, but I generally buy too much of everything that I buy, lol. Well, I now have a solution for this. I am giving away 10 alterable items. One for each thousand hits! And as a special bonus I will add a customer direct order for the winner's choice of designer paper frompages 171-173 of our current Stampin Up! catalog if I get over 150 comments. So tell you friends to come over and check it out. You only need to leave a comment letting me know what your favorite technique is and maybe a link or short description if needed. For those of you that don't know the Techno in my blog name is really short for Techniques because I love them.

I've tried only about a dozen techniques so far so I don't have a vast list to pick from, but of those the favorite as been frosted filters. I really enjoy your blog!!
Diane
Hi Mary Jo! I love your ideas....they are always wonderful. Let's see...this is a tough one to pick a favorite technique...I guess right now it would be a new one coming out in the October Technique Junkies issue called Cuttlebug smoosh...it is really cool!!
Mary Ellen
I am a bit of a technique-a-phobe (gasp, horror...) I'm hesitant to get my work area (or myself) too messy incase my nearly 5-year old comes to "help". This is my first visit to your blog, but am adding it to my favourites as your work is wonderful. Thanks for sharing your talent...
I think I have tried nearly everything at least once but always use distressing with ink or razor on everything.
Awesome MJ!! Great Techno Take-out too!! My fav tech is still Expressionistic Watercolor. I love how this turns out and it seems you can never go wrong with it!
I am a bit intimidated by techniques so I guess I fall back on heat embossing most of the time to add a little zip to my cards!!! Love your blog MJ, you are working very hard. I enjoy looking at all the sketch challenges you do.
You have a great blog here! I love learning/trying new techniques, and resist techniques are my favorites. I think I'd have to say that versamark resist is the one I'm doing a lot right now.
Great ideas! Tech's...I luv them all...right now I'm into using the tech's in the cuttlebug folders, try it!
Ooh, I LOVE to alter things! My favorite technique is faux fairy dust . I love all of the sparkle.

Hi Mary Jo!
Congratulations on 10,000...WOW!!!
That is quite a collection you are offering up....thank you :)
My favorite technique right now is paper piecing. I just love dp!!
My favorite technique would be hard to pcik because I have been a chicken and haven't tried a lot of new ones. I guess technically embossing is a technique and I do love to emboss so I guess that would be my answer. Yeah embossing. That's it. :)
congrats on the hits! I love the embossing technique :)
I really don't know that punches count as a technique, but I love using them! :) Thanks!
I love using paper piercing. I use my SU Mat pack and MM paper piercer. For fancier designs I grab an ornare stencil, and sometimes I just go freehand! Love the old time look it generates. Congrats on all the blog hits and thanks for the chance to win such a generous blog candy package!
Wow...that's some sweet candy! I really love Gamsol Magic, using my Prismacolor pencils. Thanks for sharing & for inspiring us!

Great blog candy! Donna Baker sent me over :-) I'm a pretty simple stamper but I'd have to say my favortite technique is probably some type of resist--crayon or versamark or emboss because it's simple but wows each and every time.

I enjoy learning all the techniques, but have to say you do amazing color techniques. I didn't do very well at coloring, even as a kid, so I appreciate anyone who can do it so beautifully. Congratulations on your success and thanks for letting me play along.
I really enjoy your cards. But most of all I love your quote "Don't tell God how big your problem is tell your problem how great the Lord is!"
For a technique I love to mask things when I'm stamping.

I am fairly new to this, just made some journals for my dd. Gonna have to try some of the things mentioned on your Blog. Thanks for sharing
I love the techinque where you use versaink and stamp your image, then use a brayer in any color and brayerer over it .
Thanks,
Mindy
My favorite technique is using a die-cut machine to cut Flexi-Foam, then coating the Flexi-Foam with Stampin' Up Crystal Effects and covering the Crystal Effects with glitter. After that is dry, cover it again with Stampin Up Crystal Effects. It makes a very cool embellishment!
Great blog!!! My favorite technique right now is scratch and sniff cards, where you use scented sugar free powder mixed with clear embossing powder on a card. I have been doing pumpkin spice with Carved and Candlelit and making some fab cards. Smells so yummy for fall! I also love watercoloring on watercolor paper, distressing, making 3D items from cardstock, and altering just about
everything.
