One sketch two cards!

Two weeks in a row I found time to play along with the MoJo Sketch challenge.  I really really love this week's sketch so I made two cards with it.  May even make another one, lol.  We shall see.  Here is the sketch....

And here is my first card, a fun valentine card...

Such fun colors on this one Chocolate chip, pretty in pink and real red.  I love it.

And the next one is so different yet the same.

This one uses the Crosses of Hope stamp set, such a beautiful set.  I have wanted it for so long so I finally broke down and got it.  I am so happy I did, so pretty!

Blogger's Challenge -- Color-green, yellow and brown

You can win one of my new tutorials for free by just leaving a comment on THIS POST by Sunday Night.  You can view both tutorials that are available now on my side bar.
More coming soon.  And all for only $2 each!

I am finally able to play along with the Blogger's Challenge.  I have been missing quite a few lately but I have added it to my goals to be consistent again!  I love doing them but my schedule changed and I forget to do it early in the week so I am ready on time.  Be sure to check what the other players are doing by clicking HERE.

This week Lisa gave us a color challenge.  Green, Yellow and Brown.  Ohhh, love this.  I chose to use Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizazz and Chocolate Chip.  I also combined it with the MoJo sketch challenge.  Another one I don't often get to play since it is on the same day as my sketch challenge and the LNS challenge that I do.  Here is the sketch

I decided to go with a simple sympathy card.  Nothing too fancy just  pretty and to the point.

I used the new sympathy set from the current mini Thanks for Caring.  Such a nice stamp set.

Stamps: Thanks for Caring
Paper: Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip and In color DP paper pack
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Other: Stampin Write Markers, brads, nestabilities

Hope you have a great day!

MoJo Monday on Sunday

It is has been a while since I did a MoJo challenge.  I just got the Very Thankful set and was not sure I would like the peacock but I do -- I really do.  This is my first card with it but I think it is really beautiful and even better yet, different!  What do you think?  I colored the image right on the stamp with markers then did the "huff" thing before stamping--turned out great!

Here is the sketch I used from the MoJo Sketch Blog.   I kept it simple to keep the peacock as the focal point.

Stamps: Very Thankful
Paper: Old Olive, Whisper White, Rose Red and the Sweet Pea Paper Pack
Ink: none
Other: markers, brads, Curly Label punch

This is also my last submission for the Latenightstampers challenge 60--use designer papers.

I will be back later tonight with my new Technostamper Sketch Challenge.

Blogger's Crushed Mambo Chips Mojo Style!

Hmmm, sounds like a recipe huh? But no -- it's my Blogger's challenge for this week, combined with the MoJo Sketch Challenge from Monday! The Blogger's challenge was a color challenge this week--we are to use the colors

Melon Mambo
Crushed Curry
Chocolate Chip
and a Neutral if desired.

the MoJo sketch for the week is..

And then of course my card.

I struggled with this a bit the night I started it so I set it aside and left it till this morning and it came together in a few minutes! Sometimes you just have to walk away and come back fresh. I really like the card now!

I used the adorable level on hostess set called Out of the Box. Such a darling little set.

Supplies:

Stamps: Out of the Box, Nursery Necessities
Paper: Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Razzleberry Lemonade DP
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Melon Mambo
Other: Circle Scissors Plus, scallop circle punch, circle punch, word window punch, Final Press embossing folder, brads, marker

Blogger's Challenge MoJo Style

I got to use another of Julee's great MoJo sketches for this week's Blogger's challenge. The challenge was to make a "manly" card. I thought it was about time I give you guys a sneak peek of one of the new sets in the new catalog coming out July 1st. This set is called Autumn Days. It was hard to get a decent picture because of the size of the card. I also used the new in colors for the next year.

Stamps: Autumn Days, Sweet Little Sentiments
Paper: Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, Dust Durango, Whisper White and new dp
Ink: Crushed Curry, Soft Suede
Other: in color markers!, large oval punch, scallop oval punch, brads, embossing folder, paper piercer, thread.

Don't forget to check out the other Blogger's Challenge players by clicking on the button on my side bar.

MoJo Monday on Friday!

Since my challenge and the Latenight Stamper's challenge are both on Mondays I don't often have time to play along with the MoJo challegne #89. I do love her sketches so when I can remember to check it out I do. This week was a fun one and I needed to use up some of this retiring paper so it worked perfect. I love these owls in blue and I am so going to miss this year's in-colors. They are wonderful. I hope the new ones grow on me, lol.

Stamp: Owl Together Now
Paper: Bashful Blue, Pacific Blue, Whisper White and Good Morning Sunshine DP
Ink: Basic Black and Pacific Point
Other: Wide ribbon, circle punch, curly label punch bundle, markers,

Thanks for checking it out. Have a great night.

MoJo Monday Challenge #65

Since Julee does her challenges the same day as me I don't get to play as often I as I'd like to. She has great sketches so when I can I love to play along. Here is her sketch from today....

I made two cards this morning with the sketch- but because I was going by memory and not a print out I forgot the ribbon on the top on both. I think it still holds pretty true to the sketch though even if I couldn't add the ribbon as an after thought.

My first card is using some scraps from an retired holiday scraping kit. I added the stickers on a paper doily. Looks pretty cool don't it?

You can't really see the glitter unless you click on it to enlarge the picture.

This next card was just a bit of playing with my Slice and the stamp set Deer Ol Santa from Storage Units Ink and More. Not a favorite card but I didn't want to not post it, lol!

Hope you are having a great beginning to the week. I see that Mister Linky is temporarily out again so if you play in my challenge and the Linky widget is not there please just leave a comment and I will add it when they are up and running again. Thanks.
