So I was so busy making Christmas cards during the Holiday Mini time frame that I only got to use this set once while it was current. Actually I made this card the day before it retired so I guess I used it twice but only shared one. Go figure. It is a good thing I keep all my sets and use them all--retired or not. This is such a cool set wish I would have had a bit of time to play with it while it was current --I made this for a Chat and Challenge on SUDSOL.

Sudsol Challenges!
It has been a while since I have played along with the challenge on Sudsol--such a great group I need to give back to them more often. If you are not a member you can get a free two week membership to check it out on my sidebar.
I participated in the sketch challenge and the Stampin Success CASE challenge.
Here is the sketch challenge--as you can see I flipped the sketch to make it work....
ETA: You can learn how to use your dies to cut around images like above HERE.
And the CASE challenge.....
Both samples are using the For the Birds stamp set. They both also use the same colors--real red, pool party and whisper white. Fun challenges.
This is such a fun stamp set....

Happy today!

One more with the Scenic Season Set
I really love the traditional Night of Navy and Whisper White with a touch of silver. Makes such a pretty and bold card. Each year I have to make one like this and one with Real red in place of the Night of Navy. Those are my two favorite color combos from Christmas.
I am loving the added glow that I have around the trees on this card, it was so easy to do too. I stamped the image with versamark on the Night of Navy card stock, then embossed with silver embossing powder that had a small amount of gold mixed in. Very pretty color. Then I used a sponge and white craft ink to add the glow--after you can just wipe off any that is still on the embossed image and you are done. So easy yet so pretty!
This card fits the Latenightstamper's challenge to create cards for your favorite holiday and the SUDSOL challenge to use the Scenic Season Set.All supplies current Stampin Up!
Stamps: Scenic Season, Serene Snowflakes, Many Merry Messages
Paper: Night of Navy, Whisper White
Ink: Versamark and Night of Navy
Other: Scallop oval frame die, satin ribbon, white embossing powder, mixed silver and gold embossing powder, heat gun, black marker, sponge
Thanks for stopping by today.
See ya tomorrow.

Super Set Sampler Challenge #2
I am so excited about this new challenge! It will be so fun to have tons of 100% current samples shown by set. Don't you think? Here is the basic idea of the challenge. The challenge will be called Technostamper's Super Set Sampler Challenge (T3SC2). In honor of my love of Stampin Up stamps I will be doing this new challenge. The idea is that each week I will pick a set and make two cards with the set to start us off and hopefully inspire you to use the set too. I realize that you will not own all the sets that I do but you will get tons of fabulous ideas to share with your friends/customers. And of course you may fall in love with the set and realize you HAVE to have it! So I hope that you will play along on week's that you have the featured set, and visit on week's that you don't. Soon we will have so many wonderful ideas to use with our sets. The catch to this is that ALL SAMPLES MUST BE 100% CURRENT STAMPIN UP! SAMPLES. It is a challenge after all but I know you are all up for it. Are you in? I will be giving a $5 voucher each week for SU product --redeemable through me. You can accumulate them up to $25 before spending. So you will want to play as often as you can to earn lots of free stuff of your choice.
To be eligible to win the gift voucher you must do the following....
- Use 100% current Stampin Up products (if it is current by you and not in the US you will need to state that in your post.
- Use the FEATURED SET OF THE WEEK.
- Post a direct link to your sample on Mister Linky below
- Post by midnight Tues. night. (EST.)
- The sample does NOT have to be stamped now it can be one you already have done.

This set is so versatile and great for fall cards. I have a few samples for you that I did today and I will combine the ones I have done in the past with the re-cap at the end of the week.
My first and second cards are for two other challenges too. First is the SUDSOL Case Challenge #1. And also the Latenightstamper's Step it up to the top challenge for this week.
