I chose to make a card with one of the new robot stamps and a set of coaster for my living room with the new the new fairies. I used all the fairies for my coasters, not only the new releases.

I think they are just adorable. I thought they made a perfect pair together and I always love pink and grey together.

Next up are these great coasters I found in my craft room. Think I bought them eons ago! Since I actually have a collection of fairies in my living room I chose to use them to make coasters in the colors of the room. Aren't they fun. Here is a group picture--it is hard to get a good picture because of the glare.

Today's Technique Lovers Challenge was Masked Frames. What a fun technique. I originally seen it in the Technique Junkies Newsletter but never tried it out--till now. How fun. Blogger's Challenge!

Let me start this post by saying -- DID YOU EVER HAVE ONE OF THOSE DAYS?????

It is only 9:45 and I have already had just about everything that could go wrong go wrong. It is actually becoming quite comical, remember I have a strange sense of humor so that could have something to do with why I am finding it funny. I won't bore you with all the details but I do want to publicly (especially since my hubby don't read my blog--I don't think) admit that HE was right. Ohhhh how I hate that. I have this shelving unit next to my desk that is 5 foot high and it it is one of those wire units. He is always saying---"ya know that thing is gonna fall some day with all the sh*# you pile on there. It gonna knock you right out!" Of course I just smile and nod--yea yea yea. Well guess what happened this morning. Yep you got it. Fell and yep, it hit me when it fell--didn't knock me out though so he is not 100% right, lol. What a mess I have. I was laughing so hard at how many things have gone wrong this morning that I decided to just leave it for a while so I don't hurt myself again cleaning up the mess. So here I am with my blogger's challenge post--with a huge mess all around me.

Today Lisa gave us a sketch--you guys all know I love sketches and since I missed last week I made two for this week!

First is a card made with stamps from Storage Units Ink and More. It is a card that has a ornament that the recipient can take off the card and hang on their tree or where ever. At least I hope that is what they do with it and not throw it away, lol

and here is a separate picture of the ornament by itself. Cute huh? I love this retired paper as you can tell, since I used it on both of my cards today.

And my second card is another adorable image from Mo's Digital Pencil. I love mice. I actually have a huge collection of them made from many different things but they have been boxed up for years--I don't know where to put them all. I boxed them up when my son was little to make the house more child friendly and to protect them from getting broken but now that my son is older he has pretty much taken over all the whole house with his stuff and there is no room for my collection. Oh well, back to the adorable card. If I wasn't so stinkin lazy I would make this for all my Christmas cards this year, but there is no way I could color this images that many times, lol.

One is late and one is early and one is on time.

This has been a fabulous week at VBS but it has really cut into stampin time, lol. I am certainly not complaining though, you have to experience it to know how wonderful it is to work with over 200 children sharing the love of God. Incredible. I teach music and let me tell you these guys are ROCKIN God's House! Too fun.

So my Whachadoin' Wednesday challenge should have been posted this morning but I honestly forgot, so now it is late. The good news is that it is the same theme as the Three Clover's Thursday Challenge so I can use it for both, one late and one on time! The theme for the week on both challenges was--super summery cards.

And then I decided to use the new sketch on the CPS blog. It's a fun one.

Three Clovers Thursday Challenge

I chose to make a 12 by 12 scrapbook page of my parents wedding picture. I love the old wedding pictures, they are so pretty and formal. I was very inspired by the colors and the flowers. Hope you are inspired too!

My husband is not into sports, or fishing or the normal stuff like that he is more into cars, computers, rebuilding tractors and such. Day Three at Cub Scout Camp!

More playing with my Gazelle!

I love the cut of this card. I created it with my new Gazelle cutter. The only thing is I should not have cut it out of DP but wanted the two sides. It will not open and close too many times before it rips I am sure. But it is really cute. I will cut the next one from card stock though. I used that adorable little summer fairy again from the new singles that were release this month at Storage Units Ink and More. She is so sweet.

Fun with the new Gazelle!

I cut these cute cards with my new Gazelle! So easy and fun to work with. The first one is using the brand new in-color from Stampin Up! Dusty Durango and the new DP called Razzleberry Lemonade.

The next one is using the new SUINK stamp set You're A Hoot! Such a darling set. I also used core-dinations cardstock. Can you tell how it is sanded around the flower.

It's Three Cloves Thursday

I thought Kerry was our friend but now I wonder, lol. What the heck! Is she crazy or something? I think someone better check in wither her to be sure she has not completely lost it. She asked us to make a card with NO layers this week. That's right NO, NODA, ZIPPO, ZERO --you get the point she said "one piece of folded card stock and that is it! Well, I have to admit that I restarted mine three times because of smudges on the white paper. And as much as I love Whisper White card stock it is NOT made for one layer cards. The drawn on photo corners are to cover the smudges on this one, lol. As are the brads! Made me limited on choices I could only used stuff that would cover my mistakes. You can not see from the photo but it is also embossed with the swiss dot Cuttlebug Folder around the circle. I laid the paper on the folder and used my bone folder to rub around the oval so I could have the rest of the card embossed. The good part about this card is the darling images. These are some of the new releases from SUINK! The set is called You're a Hoot! and it is adorable. So after all that here is my card.

Other: Copics, Ribbon, Faux brads, Cuttlebug Embossing folder, Nestabilities for stencil.


I may have to try it again and see if I can make a card that I would actually send someone. This one has the Copic markers showing through and the black ribbon shows on the inside which is the one thing that makes me crazy! I do not like any of my embelishments to show inside, especially brads and stitching--hence the layers.

Black and Blue All Over!

I have been doing lots of gardening and out door work and I am Black and Blue all over! So in honor of all the hard work we do I thought it would be fun to do a color challenge. You guessed it

card, 3d item, scrapbook page your call.

I made a card using my sketch challenge for this week (seen here) and the Thinking Of Father Stamp set from SUINK. I also used my Gazelle to cut the card itself. The back looks the same except I let that one be black and white instead of blue. Perfect for the soccer dad!

Summer Fun 2009!

I used my new Gazelle to cut the pages with the words on the sides. And my bind it all to put it all together. All stamps are from Storage Units Ink and More.


Hope you enjoy, I know my son and hubby will. It is for them and it is a few of the things my son wants to do with daddy this summer so hence no pictures, it is yet to happen, lol.
