1st and 3rd Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 363

This sketch is a really back to basic one--which leaves room for you own special touches--love that!  So welcome to the new 1st and 3rd Monday challenge.  For those of you who may be new to my sketch challenge I just recently stopped posted every week and changed it to the 1st and 3rd Mondays.  I hope that you will play along with us.  Here is our new sketch--you have until May31st to participate--lots of time--you can even play along more than once with all that time!

Here is the new sketch.....

And my back to basic sample.....

Stamps: Sheltering Tree and Round Array
Paper: Early Espresso, Whisper White and Flower Pot
Ink: Early Espresso, Crushed Curry, Garden Green
Other: burlap, scallop circle and regular circle dies, scallop circle and regular circle punches

Now let me share with you what the rest of the team created with this sketch....

Sue Root

Jonia Smith

Robbie

What a great variety of  designs!  They are really the BEST team out there--I bet you already knew that though!  Be sure to take a moment to visit their blogs and read all the detail--oh and maybe even leave a little love in the form of a comment--by clicking on their names under each design.

Remember you have extra time to play along with this sketch--
all samples are due by 5/31/

Here are some basic rules for the challenge....
  1. You have until May 3rd at midnight to play along!
  2. Create a new card using the sketch as your inspiration.
  3. Use any products you choose.
  4. Add your card to your blog or other on-line spot and link back to this challenge.
  5. Come back here and add a direct link to your sample for the challenge and NOT you home page of your blog--people will not look for your challenge card--trust me.
  6. And this one is not really a rule but a request--get rid of that word verification!  It makes it hard for us to comment on your samples.  It is easier for you to delete the spam then for us to jump through tons of hoops to comment.  If your put your comments on moderation you do not have to worry about spam--you will have the option to delete it BEFORE it ever goes on your blog so you will ALWAYS be safe!
  7. Have fun and tell you friends to play too!
    Add your sample below

Wildflower Meadow

I have had mixed emotions with this set.  Funny because I have already used it quite a bit in quite a few different ways.  But the jury is still out, lol.   Here is one of the cards I did at one of my recent classes using only part of the image and coloring with markers.

I used Rich Razzleberry and Pear Pizazz along with Whisper White.  The sentiment is from the Round Array stamp set.

Stamps: Round Array, Wildflower Meadow
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Paper: Pear Pizazz, Rich Razzleberry, DP
Other: markers, wildflower embossing folder

Hope you week is going smoothly!  Thanks so much for stopping by.
