Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 339 (TSSC339)

I am feeling really excited about this week's sketch, it is a simple yet fun one that I know you are going to love.  I can't wait to see all the samples for the week.  Remember you get a whole week to play along.  Here is the sketch.....

And as usual we will start with my sample....

I ended up flipping the sketch to have the star/circle element on the right side to work better with my image.  I really love this set (I know I have said that before) it is so fun.  This time I embossed the image with white embossing powder on Blackberry Bliss card stock.  I think it looks really petty.

Stamps: The Newborn King
Paper: Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White, Mossy Meadow and Color Me Autumn DP
Ink: Versamark, Blackberry Bliss
Other: circle framelits, Mossy Meadow ribbon, white embossing powder

Now for the AMAZING design team's samples

Shut the front door!

I am loving this this super fun stamp set Wondrous Wreath-it is so versatile.  It can be used for any holiday or season although it was designed for Christmas cards.  I have seen lots of these front door cards around the web--actually they come around every year around this time--so I thought I would try it out with this wreath.  So pretty!

Since it is the beginning of a new month it is also the beginning of a new monthly challenge on the Latenight Stamper's blog.  Come on over and play along with us, the theme for the month is Fall/Family/Thanksgiving!

Stamps: Wondrous Wreath, For All Things, Woodgrain BG
Paper: Sahara Sand, Whisper White
Ink: Sahara Sand, Blackberry Biss, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry
Other: framelits, retired brad

Thanks so much for coming by to visit today

Try Stamping on Tuesday!

My week to post for the challenge, and I have to admit that I was a bit stumped by the sketch.  After some thought I think I came up with an alright card though???!!!  Thought it would work for a little girl.  What do you think?

I had to use the computer for the sentiment but I think it works.  The butterflies are glued down on the bottoms and raised up at the tops so it looks like they are taking flight.  Here is the sketch....

We would love to see your take on it!  If you need more inspiration check out the rest of the teams samples HERE.  By the way, the twist was to use Orange, Black and Yellow.  Hence my color scheme.  Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by.

Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 338 (TSSC338)

I am excited about the new sketch this week!  I can't wait to see your samples.  It is such a fun sketch and it is a square card, I don't do many of those for sketches.  Hope you find time to play along.  Here is the sketch for this week....

Here is my sample it is my first time using the White Christmas Set. A pretty fun set with lots of fun little images that can be used together.  Funny, one of the Design Team members used the same set and same colors!  That has not happened in quite a while-you all know what they say--great minds think alike, lol, I forgot the ribbon though--go figure!  Anyway here is my sample....

I think this little bear is just adorable and it really looks like he is looking up so I had to use the old retired sentiment inside my card "Near and Far Follow His Star".  The Merry & Bright sentiment is also retired.
Stamps: White Christmas, retired sentiments
Paper: Soft Sky, Lost Lagoon, Pear Pizazz, Whisper White and All is Calm DP
Ink: Brown, Black
Other: rhinestones, markers, glitter on snowflakes, white gel pen
