Try Stamping on Tuesday!

My week to post for the challenge, and I have to admit that I was a bit stumped by the sketch.  After some thought I think I came up with an alright card though???!!!  Thought it would work for a little girl.  What do you think?

I had to use the computer for the sentiment but I think it works.  The butterflies are glued down on the bottoms and raised up at the tops so it looks like they are taking flight.  Here is the sketch....

We would love to see your take on it!  If you need more inspiration check out the rest of the teams samples HERE.  By the way, the twist was to use Orange, Black and Yellow.  Hence my color scheme.  Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by.

Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 338 (TSSC338)

I am excited about the new sketch this week!  I can't wait to see your samples.  It is such a fun sketch and it is a square card, I don't do many of those for sketches.  Hope you find time to play along.  Here is the sketch for this week....

Here is my sample it is my first time using the White Christmas Set. A pretty fun set with lots of fun little images that can be used together.  Funny, one of the Design Team members used the same set and same colors!  That has not happened in quite a while-you all know what they say--great minds think alike, lol, I forgot the ribbon though--go figure!  Anyway here is my sample....

I think this little bear is just adorable and it really looks like he is looking up so I had to use the old retired sentiment inside my card "Near and Far Follow His Star".  The Merry & Bright sentiment is also retired.
Stamps: White Christmas, retired sentiments
Paper: Soft Sky, Lost Lagoon, Pear Pizazz, Whisper White and All is Calm DP
Ink: Brown, Black
Other: rhinestones, markers, glitter on snowflakes, white gel pen

Now for the amazing Design Team samples.....

Happy Columbus Day to you!  If you are lucky you may even have this day off.  Then again, you may not even celebrate it--in that case--Happy Monday!  Hope you are ready for a new challenge, this week's sketch is a pretty easy one.  My card took me about 7 minutes total!  Here is the sketch....

I took a simple clean route for a fun Christmas card.....

I adore this paper from the All is Calm Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack so thought I would make it the focal point of my card.  The colors are Lost Lagoon and Soft Sky.  The sentiment is from the Good Greetings Set.  Other supplies used are rhinestones and Frosted Sequins.
