Respect--and Honor--and Sincere Thanks--for all Veterans!

Today's Try Stamping on Tuesday sketch challenge is in honor of all Veterans.  We are so thankful for all that you do and all that you sacrifice for all of us!  Thank you for your dedicated service.

When I first seen the sketch for the week I was totally thrown for a loop!  I thought what the heck am I to do with that!  Then I looked for the theme of the week and seen RESPECT.  Hmmm, what are some things I respect--our men and women who give so much for us!  Perfect!  Funny that at the moment I was creating this card I did not even realize that it would be posted on Veteran's Day!  How cool is that!  Love when awesome things like that just happen!  Here is this week's sketch....

Theme: RESPECT
Come on over and play along!

Supplies used on my card:
Retired Godspeed Stamp Set
Paper: Real Red, Whisper White and Night of Navy
Ink: Basic Black
Other: star embossing folder, oval nestabilities

Thanks for visiting today!

Thank God for our Veterans!

Please remember or Veterans and our active military as your go about your day today. We would not be doing what we are doing without them! God Bless the USA and all who have fought for our freedoms!

If you are in the Orchard Park area please keep you eyes open for our cards for soldiers event that will take place in January! We know that many are sending cards now through Christmas so we will begin with the new year. We will be creating the following two cards in multiples and adding heartfelt messages to the inside for our soldiers. You will be able to learn more about it on our St. John's Women's Ministry Blog when the time arrives. We are still in the planning stages.

Both cards use pretty much the same supplies:

Stamps: Service and Sacrifice and the Hero Jumbo Wheel
Paper: Brilliant Blue, Real Red and Whisper White
Ink: Real Red, Brilliant Blue
Other: scoring blade, silver brads, wide oval punch

Enjoy your day thanks to all those who came before us!
Mary Jo
