Blogger's Challenge - Mother's Day

Geez, it took me all day to get this post up, blogger was being difficult.  Looks like it has decided to behave at least for now.  This week we are focusing on Mothers!  Appropriately so!  I took one of my favorite word stamps from the All Holidays set and added it to another sentiment stamp in the same set to come up with the appropriate sentiment for my mom.    It is actually a simple card but I like it.  I combined it with the Latenightstamper's Challenge 69 to use pearls and swirls.

I love this Bella Blue paper.  So easy to get beautiful cards with it.

Stamps:  All Holidays, Messages for Mom (last mini)
Paper: Saraha Sand, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White, Bella Blue DP
Ink: Not Quite Navy
Other: embossing folder, sizzix sizzlets, markers, pearl from the pretties kit.

Hope you have a blessed weekend!

Ed 3

Welcome to week number three of the ED challenges.  In case you are visiting for the first time and you are not a member of the Latenightstamper's group (gasp) the ED challenge is a challenge with a weekly theme to make Easy and Demonstratable cards.  This weeks theme is Black, White and just a hint of color.  I combined it with the other weekly challenge on Latenightstampers which is to create a Sympathy card.  If you are not a member of the Latenightstampers group and you love Stampin Up! products you can join here!  It is free and 100% SU.  Tons of fabulous samples and ideas each and every day.

Any way, here is my card for the challenges.

I really love the simplicity of this card, it is actually so elegant.

Stamps: Brighter Tomorrow
Paper: Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black
Other: embossing folder, brads, marker

Hope you have time to play along!  Fun challenges.

Ahhh, the signs of spring!

Not that I have seen any humming birds or flowers but I have indeed seen the SUN and that my friends is enough to make me very happy!  I even cleaned up all the dog (you know what from the winter) and did some other outside things.  And my son got to ride his bike around a bit!  Yippee.

So because of the beautiful weather I decided to use this new set--Spring Song.  It is a bit of a strange mix of colors but I think I like it.  Won't know for sure till I see it again in the morning, lol!

I made it a birthday card so that it would fit the Latenightstamper's challenge for the week.

Stamps: Spring Song, Well Scripted
Paper: Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry DP, Sweet Pea Paper Pack
Ink: Basic Black
Other: markers, watercolor pencils, build a brad, blender pens, circle punch, paper piercer, mat pack

Hope you have a great night.  Thanks for stopping by.

Welcome to another week of my Monday Lunchtime Sketch challenge.  I have a super easy one for you this week.  So easy that I was able to make three cards in less than an hour!  Including looking up the sketch and all.  I hope you will play along.  I notice that my participation has been down a bit -- not sure if that is because of the holidays and everyone being busy or if you are all just getting bored with the sketch challenges.  I still love them so it don't matter, lol--well it kind of matters.

Anyway as has been the pattern since I have been on the DT for the Latenight Stamper's group--I combined my sketch with the weekly challenge over there.  Can you guess what the theme for the week is by looking at my cards, yep, Valentines.  Come on over and play along with both of these fun challenges.

411 sketch Latenightstamper style

Today's sample is for the sketch challenge 132 on the 411 blog and also my DT submission for the Latenightstamper's weekly challenge number 52. This week we are to use ribbon on our cards and or projects. I am hoping to learn some new techniques with ribbon--the samples are always amazing. Anyhow, here is my first sample....

As you can see from the sketch below I turned the sketch and had to move the images down a bit to fit the ribbon bow.  I think it is a really cute card, what do you think?  Here is the sketch.

Thanks for stopping by,
Happy Back To REALITY Day!
(I know I am struggling, lol)

Latenight Stamper's Bloggin' Stars!

The latenightstampers group is just loaded with talented stampers who are so inspiring and creative. Some of us have joined together to form a few Bloggin' Stars groups. The groups will have 10 or 11 blogs in each and there are four different groups to begin with. So much talent you will be in awe. Each group will take the time to encourage each other in their bloggin efforts --we all know that bloggin can at times be HARD--so much pressure to do it "right" and sometimes so little feedback. Hence our bloggin friends. We are going to make bloggin just a bit more fun. And the good news for you is that you will be able to check out some blogs you may not have seen before! You will not be sorry you took the time to visit these talented stampers on their blogs, they are sharing so many fabulous samples each and every day. So be sure to stop by their blogs and give them a little love--they may just return the favor on your blog! Share The Love!

Each member of each group will have a list of blogs from their group on their sidebars. If you would like to see the full list join the latenightstamper's group and you can find it there. Or of course you can just ask me and I will send it but I know you will love the group if you join so that would be the way I would go, lol.

Here are the other bloggers in my group--we are group number 1--they are also on my sidebar.
