LNS18-- Circles- How fun!
Circles circles everywhere! This week's challenge is to use circles, I love circles, it is actually a bit hard for me to not use them. They are so fun. I might have gotten a bit carried away on this one, lol. The middle chipboard piece is actually garbage from one of my son's Pokemon games. They give you little tokens that you have to punch out of this and I knew right away that the rest of it would end up on a card and not in the garbage! Made it pretty easy from there. The DP's are all from the Good Morning sunshine DP. Fun colors and lots of circles. I added a piece of black card stock to the back to make the flowers pops. I love it. What do you think? 100% current Stampin Up! products so it is one of my You're hired again series of cards. Here is a close up view to see the depth of the circles.
Stamps: One of a Kind, Darling Dots and Wagon Full of Fun
Paper: Pacific Point, Whisper White, Good Morning Sunshine DP
Ink: Pacific Point, Summer Sun, Kiwi Kiss and Basic Black
Other: ribbon, flower punch, circle punch, photo corner punch
Thanks for stopping by--see ya soon

One more for the Latenight Stampers challenge #17
I had to get at least one more in for this challenge. The original challenge was visit our List Mom Sherrill Graff's blog and chose a card to case. She not only has some awesome projects that she created but many projects from others too! Some great eye candy there. So we've decided for this week's challenge we were going to CASE a card from Sherrill's Blog! Any card you want! Take a look at all the fabulous samples and pick one that you would like to re-create. The only thing is that you have to change at least two things about the card. You can change the stamps, the colors, layout, change out ribbon for brads or any other thing that you want.
I am loving this adorable set Owls Together Now it is one of the sets I got from Sherrill for winning her challenge. So fun, I especially love it when the owl is blue to match these great papers. (from Sherrill too). I chose this card by Sandi to case.

This is 100% current SU products and one of my You're Hired Again Series of cards.

Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge #67
Well, this week sure went fast. My son's baseball started up and he had two practices, a scrimmage and two games this week! What the heck! This is his first year playing so we were not ready for all that, lol. We are having lots of fun with it though.
Anyway here is this week's sketch. Another circle. Did you guys notice I always seem to do things in groups. (Except for the arrows, I think Kerry and a few of the other girls would have quit one me) I have really been enjoying using circles since I got my new Circle Scissors Plus. Fun and easy.
I found this sketch a bit harder than the last few just because of the simplicity of it. Weird how sometimes simple is SO hard! I will only be sharing one sample with you now but I have three cards to share in my next post that will all be using the new And Many Mower stamp set and two of them will use this sketch so be sure to check that out. That will be part of the Occasions Mini Blog Tour I was telling you about. If you missed the details click HERE. You will definitely want to see all the great samples. I am even going to be giving away the And Many Mower set to one lucky person who is traveling along on our tour. Here is a picture of the set.
Be sure to come back in the morning to find out how you can win this set for FREE!
And finally here is my card for today. This set actually belongs to a friend of mine but she said I could play with it for a bit before she picks it up. How cool is that. This is the first card I have made with it and even though I am not totally thrilled with it I do like it. The set was easy and fun to play with. That is a real plus.
This is 100% current Stampin Up and part of the You're Hired Again Series.
Stamps: Branch Out, Really Retro
Paper: Pacific Point, Summer Sun, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White and Good Morning Sunshine dp
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Summer Sun, Basic Black, Kiwi Kiss, Pacific Point
Other: Circle Scissors Plus, corner rounder
See ya in the morning for the Blog Tour--I can't wait to take the trip myself.
Also in the afternoon for the new Latenight Stamper's weekly challenge hosted by myself and Susan.
Good night,

Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge #66
Today's sketch is another pretty easy one, especially if you own the circle scissors plus or Nestabilities. There are so many things that will fit in the circle you can let your imagination go wild--I did as you will see. Of course I combined challenge again for today but I will tell you about that after you see the sketch. So here it is.........
My first card is combined with the Color Throwdown Challenge #38. I have three more cards with this combo that I will post in the morning for the Latenight Stamper's weekly challenge. The colors this week were just beautiful!
I used the Friends 24-7 stamp set and of course it is 100% current stampin up and qualifys for my You're Hired again series. Actually all three of my cards today are part of this series, they all are 100% current Stampin Up and they will all be going to Sherrill Graff.

The next two cards are for the Design Team monthly theme challenge. Our challenge for April is to make projects that are for Mother's Day, Graduation, or Spring. Well I have made a few for Spring and a few for Mother's Day but I did not have any current graduation sets so I had to get creative. Keep in mind I don't have anyone graduating from college or highschool--just the elementary school so these cards are both kid friendly.
hen I say this idea on Leigh O'Briens blog. I knew I had to try it and I just happen to have a bunch of these little games laying around-image that! What don't I have laying around, lol. My son loves skulls so I knew I had to use this set. The graduation hat is hand drawn.

Stamps: Just Jawin and Hugs and Wishes
Paper: Basic Black, Basic Grey texture and regular, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black
Other: mini ball game, embroidery thread
The next is also a graduation card and the hat is again hand drawn. This really is a cute set for graduation cards, don't you think?

Stamps: Animal Crackers, Really Retro
Paper: Bella Birds DP, So Saffron DP, So Saffron, Bordering Blue, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Basic Black
Other: Chocolate Chip ribbon, markers, word window punch, small, large and scallop oval punches, So Saffron brads.
The colors on this last one are from the SCS it is CC214
Phew! I hope I remembered all of the challenges I was using. I also hope you will chose to play along this week. Let me know what you think of my graduation cards--are they too different?
Anyway after you make your sample for the sketch challenge don't forget to come on back and leave a link on Mister Linky below. And be sure to stop back to see the other samples the team does a great job each week! When uploading on line please use the keyword TSSC66

Three Clovers Thursday Challenge #9
Welcome to Thursday and another Three Clovers Thursday Challenge. We are on number 9 already. Have you played along yet? This weeks challenge is to use your favorite Technique. I don't really have a favorite and since we did this last week on the Blogger's challenge too I just figured I would pick a different one. This week I chose Reverse Masking. Fun and simple. What do you think? Do you have a favorite or one you want to learn and don't know? Leave me a comment and I will check it out (if it's a favorite) or do a tutorial on it (if you want to learn). I really love techniques. Here is my card for today.I used the circle scissors plus to cut a circle in a piece of computer paper and then used that as my mask. I stamped the flowers over the hole in the paper so they only showed up in a circle. Then before removing the mask I used a sponge and added some Baja Breeze ink all around the inside of the circle to make the circle stand out more. Then for a little more I added dots around the circle wih my black marker.
Ty the way this is 100% current Stampin Up and qualifies for my You're Hired Again series.
Stamps: Upsy Daisy, Really Retro
Paper: Baja Breeze, Basic Black, card stock, Baja Breeze DP along with Urban Oasis DP
Ink: Going Grey and Basic Black
Other: Circle Scissors Plus, sponge, ribbon, marker
Head on over to Kerry's blog to see what the rest of the team did and to play along! See ya there!
See ya soon.
I need to do some cleaning today---YUCK -- I would rather be stamping.

More 3-d flowers!
Another card for the Weekly challenge on the Latenight Stampers Group--the challenge is to make 3-d flowers. It has been a long time since I made one of these types of pocket cards. Here is what it looks like with the bookmark taken out.
The flower was created using a Sizzix die from Stampin Up so stinkin easy!
This is also 100% current Stampin Up and quaifies for my You're Hired Again Series.
Stamps: Really Retro
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette ,Kiwi Kiss DP and DP from the Bella Birds Collection
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Other: Pretty in Pink brads, chocolate chip ribbon, sizzix flower die, sizzix tag die, wide stitched ribbon, large paper clip, glue dots,
