Blogger's Challenge -- Easter

I can not believe how fast it is approaching, Easter will be here before you know it. And this AMAZING weather has had me outside all day everyday--but I did come on in for a few minutes to make and Easter card for this week's blogger's challenge. I decided mix it up a bit, I used Stampin Up papers and the cross is stampin up but the sentiment sets are not.   The top one He Is Risen is from Our Daily Bread stamps and the lower sentiment is from Eureka Stamps.

Everybunny love Latenightstampers!

The challenge this week on the Latenightstampers group is Easter projects.  Any thing for Easter.  I am one of those people who almost always makes Christian Easter cards--after all it is the celebration of Jesus rising from the dead!  But I had a chance to play with this adorable Everybunny stamp set (thanks Paula). It has the cutest images and it was really fun to work with.  I might actually need to buy it now!  I only used two of the images and they are all darling.  I mixed it with the Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper from the SAB catalog--these colors are wonderful together! 

Don't you agree that they are too stinkin cute!

Even the dog's celebrate Easter!

I had so much fun making this card.  I love how it turned out.  Great combo of stamp sets if I do say so myself, lol!  This is again for the Latenightstamper's challenge to create Spring/Easter projects.

This card is done with watercolor paper, markers and a blender pen.  I think it is just adorable!  Don't you?!

Blogger's Challenge--Easter!

I just love how this card turned out!  Isn't this a beautiful cross, made with all Easter Lilys.  It is not a Stampin Up! stamp.  I was going to go through all my non-Stampin Up! stamps and start getting rid of them since there are hundreds and I NEVER use them.  But instead I found this first box and made this card instead.  I used the bouncing brayer technique with Crushed Curry.  The cross is colored in with Copics and cut out.  I then edged it with black to make it pop.  The sentiment is Stampin Up!  Don't forget to see what the rest of the Blogger's challenge girls are doing by clicking the link with the logo in my side bar!  Off to go fishing!  It is beautiful out side today!

I am having sooooo many computer problems today.  This is the third time I am trying to post this and I can not get my program to add the watermark for some silly reason.  I am doing the same thing I do every day of my life but now it won't work---UGGGGG!  Anyway I am able to get this on like this so it will have to do before I do not have a computer any more -- it may end up in the neighbor's yard!

Stampin Connection's Featured Stamper for the week of March 21-27

Is none other than ME!  I had such a busy week that I did not have time to really search out a new featured stamper for the week so I figured I have over thee hundred samples in my gallery why not just use myself.  I find it quite easy to CASE myself too!  So after a long day of too many other things I finally had time to stamp a few cards.  The first is for this challenge.

I love these colors--so springy!  I cased this previous card of mine.  I changed the stamp sets and colors.

Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 113!

Wow, I am so messed up with the time change.  I forgot to change the kitchen clocks and those are the ones I have been using all day and now I am late getting my son ready for bed, so this will be a quickie!

I just got the Tote-ally Tess stamp set and knew I had to use it for today's challenge.  As per usual, I am combining one of my cards with the new Latenightstamper's challenge number 62.  This week we are focusing on Birthdays!  I think I like the Brunette better??  Tough call, it is a fun set to paper piece though!

Lots of challanges agian!

Here we go--I so wish that things would get back on track around here--people would stop getting sick, stop dying, stop interrupting my stampin time, lol.  Of course I am kidding --in a way.  I really don't want people to get sick or die--but they certainly are more important that stamping.  And besides I kind of like playing catch up and combining challenges.

I have two cards for the Stampin Connection Sketch Challenge #7, One for the CAS challenge number 6, which is a spring or Easter theme, on Stampin Connection. And of course one for the Latenightstampers challenge to add bling! (glitter)

Let's start with the sketch challenge.  The first one is kept really really simple and the second one is turned on it's side and has glitter paper and glitter around the heart to fit the Latenightstamper challenge too!

This is my second card with this sketch, I like this one better, Such pretty soft colors.  Which by the way are the colors for this week's challenge on Latenightstampers!  We are on challenge 58 and it is all about Spring and Pastel Colors.  I am so glad I finally broke down a got this Refuge and Strength stamp set, I love it.

Animal Crackers for Easter!

Today's is blogger's challenge day and we have a sketch this week.  So my first card is created using that sketch.  The egg is made with the wide oval punch.  So it is also part of the Latenightstamper's challenge to use punches.  It was a fun one to make.  Don't you think that little guys is just adorable.

 

Since I had the set out and thinking Easter I had to use the bunny too!  So here is that one....

This one is using my sketch challenge for last week. Bet you didn't think Easter when you looked at the Animal Cracker set but it is perfect!

Abundant Hope and a new look.

What do you think of the new look?  I love it.  And it only took a few minutes.  Too fun. 

I have quite a few cards that I keep forgetting to post and still have some Valentine stuff too.  Here is a card I mad for a class with the beautiful Abundant Hope set.

Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge #64

This is another fun sketch. I found it quite easy. I actually made two cards again. One in in A2 size as the sketch shows and one that is 6x6 card. Fun! I hope you will have as much fun with this one as I did! Here is the sketch....

Up first is my square card. Isn't this bunny image the most adorable! Kristen Catalano was kind enough to send me a few of these images so I could play. I didn't even ask her to-how cool is that! They must of came yesterday (Saturday) but we were too tired to even check the mail last night so we didn't get them till today. Glad we did cuz it was perfect for this challenge. Thanks so much Kristen -- YOU ROCK!


I even did the inside of the card--not too often that I do that but I had to stamp the SUInk sentimet You're Some Bunny Special on the inside so I did a little extra embellishing in there too. (thanks Kerry-tee hee)

Love when you can take care of more than one commitment at the same time. The focal image on this one is cut from Urban Oasis DP, only the words are actually stamped.

Careful Bunny--Don't spill the eggs!

I lost track of time yesterday so I had to hurry and make a card this morning for the blogger's challenge before I woke up my son. This week's challenge was to use embossing plates or folders. So I used one of each and kept the card pretty simple to show off the embossing. I used the new Somebunny Loves You set from Storage Units Ink and More. Such a darling set.
