Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 234 (TSSC234)

Moving right along!  It is Monday again, so of course that means we are ready for a brand new sketch challenge.  I know you are going to like this one and I can't wait to see how you are inspired by it! Here is the sketch...

And of course my sample to help get the creative juices flowing--I hope!

I love this image from the hostess set called Summer Afternoon.  Does anyone else forget about these sets now that they are in the back of the catalog?!  This is the first time I am using it and I have had it for quite a while.  This image is so serene and relaxing to me.  I just adore swings and being out side and birds and well, you get the point.

Stamps: Summer Afternoon, Teeny Tiny Tags
Paper: Crumb Cake, Pacific Point, Whisper White, DP
Ink: Basic Black, Pacific Point
Other: markers, ribbon, non-stampin up embossing folder (I am waiting on my SU wood-grain one which is what I wanted to use on this), tiny tag punch

So now it is your turn--go forth and create--and remember to come on back and add your sample below.  And if you add the code to your blog while in the html mode you can allow your readers to play along too right from your blog!

Happy creating!

Happy Wednesday!

Look's like it is going to be a beautiful day today!  I have so much work to do outside and inside and can never pick which is more important, lol!  So I thought I would post my challenge card for this week's LNS challenge and have a cup of coffee to figure it out, lol.  This week we are focusing on LOVE--yep, wedding season is just around the corner and of course that also means we will need Anniversary cards too since some of our friends and family already are married!  So the theme is love can be anything you want, wedding, anniversary, sweetheart your call.  I thought that maybe I should use this hostess set that I have had for quite a while (don't want to admit how long) and have NEVER used.  Nice since it only has a few more days before it retires--I don't get rid of my sets anyway so it don't matter to me! And I know my customer's don't get rid of their sets just because they retire--so they still want ideas--that is why I keep them!  (that's my story and I am sticking to it!) Can you tell I don't want to do ANY work--I am just babbling away.........

On to the card...

Stamps: Ain't Love Grand, Tiny Tags
Paper: Basic Grey, Basic Black, Whisper White and dp
Ink: Basic Black
Other: markers, hearts border embossing folder, ribbon, tag punch, rhinestones, circle punch, scallop circle punch, score board, scallop border punch, white gel pen

Hope you enjoy your day!  I am of to do ??????????

So Bear-y cute!

I am still on a baby card kick?! Funny since I am not really sure I can think of anyone having a baby right now. None the less, I am making baby cards. This one is the result of wanting to use this cute little bear at least once before he retired! I wasn't sure what to do with him so I put him on the chair from the Cherish Friendship stamp set. Not sure why I could not get a good picture of this one.  Weird how you do the same thing with each card and some turn out great and others--well NOT so great!  I may have to finally make one of those light boxes!

Stamps: Cherish Friendship, Bear Hugs, Tiny Tags
Paper: Blushing Bride, Early Espresso, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Brown
Other: markers, brads, wide white ribbon, Blushing Bride pleated ribbon, bakers twine, tag punch.

TGIF!  I am off to bed--my poor kitty is in bed after just getting home this morning from being spayed and de-clawed.   The poor thing--she is really hating that cone thing she has to wear.  I off to give her a break from the cone.

Pretty in Pink!

I am still playing around with the Latenightstamper's challenge to CASE a card from Pinterest. I have seen these cards just about everywhere and can't for the life of me figure out who was the first to do it. But none the less it is just adorable. Don't you agree.

I love those darling pink buttons which I got for free during SAB and the little images are from the Packed for Baby set that I also go for free for some challenge or something we did with SU--It is great to be a demo!  I also used the tiny tags stamp set for the middle of the drawers, and the Bordering on Romance stamp set for the flowers on the bottom--you may have to enlarge to see those.

Hope you are having a great day!  The sun is shinning here so that makes me happy--I opened all the blinds, fixed a few screens that were torn, cleaned, did laundry and now I am off to work out--then to STAMP!  Yea!  Happy Day!
