So, when I posted my card on Monday I said be sure to check back because I had another one almost done -- remember. Well, obviously life got in the way -- hair appointment, groceries, cub scouts, homework, you get the picture, lol. Anyway I did finally finish it and here it is...
I just LOVE this stamp set. (more about it below) And how fun is this technique. I stamped the light house twice and then cut the center part into three small squares. I gently rubbed the edges on the Basic Black pad so that they would stand out more and then popped them up on the other image so that it spilled over! It is so pretty in real life. As with the last sample I posted with this set (here) I kept it simple to show off the beautiful set. I can not begin to tell you how much I love this scripture it is so inspiring -- wouldn't this be a great graduation or confirmation card? Here is an up close view of the focal image.
Stamp set used: Light of the World from Our Daily Bread you can find it here.
As a side note: The customer service and shipping are super! I can't wait to see what else she has in store for us! I know I could use some more Christian stamps so I am excited about this company.
