Now this is what I call RELAXING!

I could literally sit here in this chair all day long.  I combined my favorite chair (remember from yesterday--Colorful Seasons stamp set) with the fabulous Waterfront stamp set for this awesome scene.  I want to be sitting in that chair NOW!  What is your favorite way to relax?

I actually love the frame around this scene.  It was actually just a scrap of paper that was sitting on my desk!  It was perfect for what I had in mind.  I am a bit late to jump on the Waterfront stamp set  wagon--it has been out for a while and there are so many amazing samples out there.  Today I learned why everyone loves it so much--it makes these scenes so easy.  I will for sure get my moneys worth out of this set!

A different Take Two Tuesday!

Yes, I do  know that it is Tuesday and that I normally share my Take Two Tuesday challenge card--you know, where I take an old card and remake it with current products and supplies.  But I am just struggling a bit getting back on track so I decided to post a second card with the same set I used in my last post--Colorful Seasons.  This really  is a great set and it kind of can fit a Take Two Tuesday--just a bit different, lol.  Forgive me???😏

I actually made a three cards with this set so far--and I absolutely love it!  So versatile!  You will have to wait until tomorrow for the other one though.  Here is  today's share.  In case you do not know I just love sunny warm weather--water and relaxing, a little wine goes really good with it too.  This is what I was feeling/thinking about when I created this card.

I just want to sit right there and read my book and enjoy a nice glass of wine.  So serene feeling.  I crated the background with an aqua pen and ink pads on a piece of watercolor paper.  The chair is stamped on regular whisper white and cut out.  The sentiment is stamped several times used the stamparatus to make sure it is nice and dark on the watercolor paper.  Wanted it to pop!  This chair is the whole reason I was drawn to this set!  Love it!

Quick and easy card--but I love the feel of it--going to send it to a friend who struggles with this time of year and all the chaos of the end of a school year.  So many exams and other things to worry about with our kids.  She can use the reminder to......

Just Breathe!

See you tomorrow!

Create your own designer paper when you have none that matches the ink colors you are using.

Well, my little break was a bit longer than expected!  Long crazy story that I won't bore you with.  Just know that I am back and ready  to jump into the brand new catalog!  It is amazing!  Have you seen it yet?

you can view it HERE

Unfortunately I have not placed my first order yet but I am ready to now!  I played a bit today and wanted to use the new in colors--they are awesome.  Not only are the colors beautiful, but the new design of the pads are fabulous too!  So easy to open and use.  Love them!

And look how nice the new pads stack--they take up much less room than before.

During the pre-order period that demonstrators get I ordered the pads in the new in colors--but neglected  to order the card stock and any matching designer series paper.  But I was  not going to let that stop me from playing around a bit!  I chose to use the Grapefruit Grove and Pineapple Punch colors to create a card. And since I did  not have matching paper I chose to make  my own.   It worked out pretty well--but I can't wait to order the card stock  and some designer papers.

I chose to use the Colorful Season Stamp Set as it had a few different image that I could make a background with.  I used the flower images to create the background paper  and just used the edge of the pad to create the strip on the right side.  A little bit of  black marker on the edges brought it all together......

This set has some fabulous images for all seasons.  Not to mention it has matching dies too!

Can you just see all the possibilities with this one?  It is a great set and dies.   Here is the rest of the supplies used.

Take Two Tuesday week 12

I am finally going to give you a sneak peek of the new products.  This set and papers will be in the new catalog.  Of course  it is available to purchase now though as a customer sneak peek!  You are going to love the beautiful specialty papers.  So beautiful.   Hard for me to pick which one I like better this week -- one is cute and one is pretty.  Tough choice for me.  What do you think?  Here are the two cards next to each other.

Such a fun layout--I need to remember this one and use it again soon!  I changed out the embossed hearts for designer paper.  The new ribbon is just beautiful--soft and pretty!  Not to mention the pretty pearls.  Love  them too!  I  wish I could get the photo to show the pearlized paper.  It is so stunning! Each of the sheets in this Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper is just fabulous.  The images in the catalog do not do it justice at all.

Here is  a full picture of the card....
