What inspires me Wednesdays--a look into what inspires me to get crafting.

Today's version of What inspires me Wednesday is inspired by the Last Chance list from Stampin Up.  There are a few sets that are on my wish list that I still do not have 😔   Now to make a choice if I still NEED them or if I can possibly live without them---ha ha--as if!

Here is the fist set.....
Magical Day--cute and trendy--adorable for both young and old.

Here are some of the amazing samples I found around the web--so many creative designers out there to inspire us!

This girl has a real talent for coloring.  Love that added red on the banner on the second one--I would have never thought of  that.  Perfect.  I just adore these both.  Here is the link to Katrina's original post  HERE

Here is one more by Katrina--I will be spending a lot of time on her blog later tonight--now that I found it--she has awesome designs!

Or what about Stasha's amazing designs with the mermaids in this set.  She was one of the designers for the samples used at Stampin Up's official training--On Stage.  I did not get to go this year but will be there next time for sure--one of the perks of being a demo!

Stasha is another amazing stamper with a great ability to use color.  I need more practice at this--so inspiring!  Here is the link to Stasha's original post HERE  I am in awe of her talent.

Well, I hate to say it but I am off to go purchase this set!  Thanks to these ladies for pushing me over the edge!  So cute!

See you soon

What inspires me Wednesdays--a look into what inspires me to get crafting.

I am truly beginning to love Wednesdays and spending some time surfing around my friends blogs and seeing their amazing designs.  It always amazes me how some people are just crazy talented.  But do you know what--as great as these designs are (and they truly are) I believe you too can make designs like this!  And I would love to help you find that creative part of you that you do not believe you have.  I KNOW it is in there somewhere.  So many people tell me they don't have a creative bone in their bodies, but I think they have just not yet learned how to use it!

The first sample is created by my friend (name removed due to request of person).  I think that she has been with Stampin Up for at least as long a me--but she was treating it like a business--while I did many years as just a hobby demo with a few classes and tutorial for sale.  Now that I am working the business--I see where I could have been if I started way back then--but the timing was not right then--and now I know that it is indeed possible.  So proud of her successes!  I always loved her designs.  These two are one of the best examples of why I love her work.  I do not like this set at all--just not right for any men in my life and it has not crossed my mind the I might need it--until I seen these cute designs.

new sample by Stampin Up!

Here is the set used...

And look at the matching punch---maybe I do need it, lol.
This paper is amazing too

My next two samples use the same amazing stamp set from our Occasions Mini---I can not believe I do not have this set--that will be changing really soon.  There are literally thousands of fabulous samples for this Waterfront set.

The first sample I want to share is from the amazingly talented Anna!  She has so many great samples on her blog.  Look at this beautiful ribbon on this card.  Love it.
The color combo is stunning----Island Indigo, Tranquil Tide and Smokey Slate and Black.

Just beautiful--don't you agree?  You can view Anna's original post HERE

I was blown away with the great job Nance from Canopy Crafts did with this set and a pretty difficult color challenge!  Just luscious!

Here inside is a fabulous as the outside. Definitely need this set!  You can view Nance's original post HERE.

I subscribed to her blog--great designs. Here is her color pallet

Finally I have a really cute card to share with the Magical Day Bundle...I love the unicorn!   Such a fun set--the matching dies make it a no brainer!

Monica did such a great job with this card. I adore the colorful background.  And the embossing on velum--been a long long time since I did that!  Love it.

I just adore this entire design.  So clean, crisp and fun.  You can view Monica's original post HERE.

So honestly wish I could go create right now-but I will have to wait till morning as I am pretty tired.

Hope you had a great day.
Thanks to all the creative people who share online each and every day to inspire us!

What inspires me Wednesdays--a look into what inspires me to get crafting.

Again I am sharing a few cards that inspired me this week.  These are the types of card samples that either entice me to purchase something or make me want to hurry down to my studio to create something with one of more of the element seen on them.

Each sample that I share will have a link under it that will allow you to visit the creator's original blog post and see more details.  While you are there be sure to say hi and tell them I sent you!  I have four samples for you......

The first one uses the beautiful butterfly stamp that is available in our Beautiful Day Set.  This set has such nice bold images that lend themselves to many great techniques.  I am loving the way that colored the image with her blends and left so much white space.  This one is going to sell me on this set--thanks for enabling me Nancy!

You can view Nancy original post  HERE

My next share is a fabulous soft card created by Linda Callahan!  I am so in love with this paper--mostly because daisies are my favorite flower and the colors are just so soothing.  The designer paper pack is called Delightful Daisy and it is just that!  Delightful.  I love the layout of Linda's card which I believe came from a sketch challenge.  She rocked it for sure.  The daisy set she used is called Daisy Delight.

You can find Linda's original post HERE

Next  sample is back to that great set I highlighted last week--the Sale-a-bration set Epic Celebrations!  Only a few more days to earn this great set for free with a qualifying purchase.  Sadly SAB ends on March 31st.  Get me your order before you miss out.

Allison did a fabulous job with this set.  I love the amazing color combo he chose--just so fun and energetic.  And the sparkly washi tape from the Myths and Magic tape pack.  The white embossed sentiment and the background stamping are other things I love about this card.

You can find Allison's original post HERE

And of course I had to share this adorable card by Tanya Boser since it uses my favorite little pigs!  As if I have not given you enough reasons to need this set--here is one more.  I love how she has them sticking their heads out behind and around the hugs die cut.  She combined them beautifully!  Just makes me smile.  Here are those dies--might have to add them to my next order too!  Another enabler, lol.  Thanks Tanya!

You can see Tanya's original post HERE.

So there you have it!  Week two of What Inspires me!
There are always so many fun samples on line for any set you have.

If you have a set you are struggling with ideas for I would love to help you out.
Send me a message with the stamp set name and I will create some samples with it to inspire YOU!

Let's get stamping!
Thanks for stopping by today.

What inspires me Wednesdays--a look into what inspires me to get crafting.

I have decided to start a new series for Wednesdays on my blog. Each Wednesday I'm going to come on and share some samples or other things that inspire me that week. I am not sure what it'll be ---maybe card samples, pictures, people in life, things that are happening, whatever it is that's going to inspire me to get crafty.

This week I know that I want to start with some samples that I found using Sale-a-bration stamp sets that you can earn for free. My reason for this is twofold

  1. I thought it would be fun to share samples of some of the sets I do not have so that you guys can see other examples.
  2. I have an order going in where I'm going to be earning a couple sets and wanted to decide which one I really wanted since it won't be current for too much longer.
Hence my choice to share samples that I love using Sale-a-bration sets that you can earn for free.

Please take a moment to check out the blogs of the people who created the cards that I'm sharing today let them know that they did a great job they did.  I have the links to the original post with all  their details under the pictures.

An as always--thank you to all of you who inspire us each week with your fabulousness!

As I was searching or samples and ideas it became pretty obvious which sets I am drawn to and which ones I should get.   The Epic set and the Pandas seem to be the ones I will get the most use from.  Check out these awesome ideas......

This first idea even pushed me over the edge on the Brusho inks--watch for that in my near future!

Amazing job on this one Sandi!  I absolutely love it. although I could not for the life of me find a way to comment on it on your blog???
Sandi's post can be found HERE

This next sample by Tanya is so pretty with the great colors and the embossing paste background--guess it is all about the backgrounds with this set!

Tanya's post can be found HERE

And how about Michele's great card that uses my favorite little piggy!  Love this.  I always love to combine sets like this and this one fits perfectly!  Makes me smile!

Michele's post can be found HERE

Now I am sure you understand why I need this Epic Set--so fun.

The second set I want is the Panda bears--they are so cute too!

Look at this adorable little card set an box that Courtenay created!  Love this little cards.  So cute, right?

Courtenay's post can be found HERE

And finally how about Jo Anne's brilliant idea to make bamboo from paint chip sample cards!  Love it!

Really, this was brilliant!  You can see Jo Anne's post HERE

Here is the set in case you want to see it

So what do you think?  Did this post inspire you?  Do you like this new item and should I continue to bring it each week?  I think it is fun, so I hope you do too.

Have a great day--I am off to prep for a class--then to get some of those paint samples in preparation for my pandas!

Happy Wednesday!
Mary Jo
