Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 321 (TSSC321)

Can you believe it is already the last day of June!  Wow time just goes faster and faster as I get older.  Do you feel that way too?  Crazy!

But let's slow it down a bit and do a little crafting..time to enjoy the things that make us feel good along with eventually making other feel good by sharing.  Love this paper crafting thing!  Hope you find a bit of time to play along this week.  Here is the new sketch....

 

Should be an easy one!  Here is my sample.  I am so obsessed with the new in colors!  I used the Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey for my card today.

I teamed the colors with the vivid vases single stamp for a pretty card for a friend.  The purples actually match better in real life--couldn't get a good picture no matter how many I took.  So just trust me it does match in real life--at least better than in this picture, lol.

Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 311 (TSSC311)

I hope that you and your family had a wonderful Easter (if you celebrate).  I know we did and the weather was beautiful!!!! I am so excited about the warm weather.  It was a long long winter.  I hope you chose to play along with my sketch challenge this week--it is another good one. And as usual the team rocked it!  Here is the sketch....

And my card, not really sure how I feel about it--I think I should have gone with a lighter color where the Tangerine Tango is on the background but I actually almost forgot to make a card all together and did not have time to re-do it.  So it is what it is..  I have been totally obsessed with this watercolor wonder paper.  So pretty and the colors are really fun.  Did you see  my new spring all occasion card tutorial yet?  I just posted it yesterday--check it out HERE.  Anyway, back to this card.  I finally inked up the Vivid Vases set--it is so pretty.

The vases are paper pieced with the yellow side of the watercolor paper.  I thought it was pretty and the flowers are colored to match the rest of the colors in the DP.

Stamps: Vivid Vases

Paper: Island Indigo, Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, and Watercolor Wonder DP

Ink: Basic Black

Other: rhinestones, markers, butterfly punch.
