Awesome right?!
Can't wait to see what you can come up with remember to come on back and add your direct link to the linky tool below.  Here are a few rules of play....

  1. You have a full week to play along!
  2. Create a new card using the sketch as your inspiration.
  3. Use any products you choose.
  4. Add your card to your blog or other on-line spot and link back to this challenge.
  5. Come back here and add a direct link to your sample for the challenge and NOT you home page of your blog--people will not look for your challenge card--trust me.
  6. And this one is not really a rule but a request--get rid of that word verification!  It makes it hard for us to comment on your samples.  It is easier for you to delete the spam then for us to jump through tons of hoops to comment.  If your put your comments on moderation you do not have to worry about spam--you will have the option to delete it BEFORE it ever goes on your blog so you will ALWAYS be safe!
  7. Have fun and tell you friends to play too!

    Thanks, Mary Jo

Try Stamping on Tuesday

Here we are again--another Tuesday, another great sketch.  Hope you can join us this week! You can view the original post and all the fabulous DT samples by visiting the home page

Try Stamping on Tuesday

Here is this week's sketch....

And of course my sample...

I had some fun playing with the different heart framelits.  Isn't it cute.  I love the big heart in the background--kind of hard to see as it almost blends in.  I didn't put a Valentine sentiment on here because I wanted to be able to use it anytime just to let someone special know I love them!

Stamps: Itty Bitty Banners, Hearts a Flutter
Paper: Real Red, Pool Party, Very Vanilla, Primrose Petals
Ink: Real Red
Other: Framelits, marker, dots embossing folder

Don't forget I started my Monday Lunchtime Sketch challenges again this week too!  You can view this week;s sketch and the fabulous designs from the new Design Team  HERE!

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Yep, Tuesday already--you know what that means -- a brand new challenge on the Try Stampin on Tuesday blog!  As always we have another great sketch.. well honestly at first I was a bit confused with all the strips but I was able to wrap my sickly brain around it and get a card made that I actually love. Here is the sketch...

and my sample...

I used the brand new More Amore Specialty paper combined with a few different sets.

Stamps: You are Loved, Hearts a Flutter and Pretty Petites (brand new SAB)
Paper: Pool Party, Real Red, Primrose Petals, Very Vanilla, More Amore Specialty paper pack
Ink: Pool Party, Real Red, Basic Black
Other: Crochet Trim, big shot dies, button from SAB pack, thin black ribbon, embossing folder (hard to see)

Thanks so much for stopping by today--be sure to check out what the rest of the team did with the sketch--I was impressed--great sample.

Still no sketch challenge but I do have the LNS challenge to share.

I am still crazy sick. I don't think I have EVER had the flu for quite this long before. I thought I was on the mend and then wham--right back in bed for two days. So I decided last night that I was just going to wake up today and pretend I feel great! So happy Monday. I hope you too are feeling wonderful and ready to start your new week.  I am sorry that I still do not have the sketch challenge for you.  I need to chat with a few people before restarting and have not had the energy to deal with it, lol.  I did make a card for the new challenge on LNS though.  Remember we have a new blog now for everyone to play along. Our group has been doing challenges for a long time now and we have often struggled with how to keep everything in one place--well, no more!  We now have our very own blog.

LNSChallenges

We would love for you to hop on over and check it out.  We are still fixing a few quirks but it is ready for you to play along!  Come on over and play along.  Don't forget to follow us using your favorite method then you will get the challenges delivered right to you!
This week we are making samples with snowmen!  I love snowmen--although I really am done with the whole cold weather/Christmas thing so I decided to make a Valentine card with a snowman!
Isn't he just too cute--and quite the juggler too!  I do love snowmen and I really enjoyed using him for a Valentine card--after all I live in WNY and we still have snowmen at Valentines.  So it works for me!!!!

Stamps: Snow Much Fun and the new Hearts a Flutter set
Paper: Real Red, Pool Party, Whisper White, More Amore Specialty DP
Ink: Basic Black, Real Red
Other: small heart punch, markers
