Another MDS (My Digital Studio) Scrapbook page

Thought I would share another scrapbook page using my MDS.  I have not had time to go down to my studio and work so I have been playing on the computer with the My digital studio making various scrapbook pages.  Again I am using many of the more basic items but still able to make fun pages.  These are some really fun pictures of Woody by the water--we were fishing.

Hope your week is going well.  Have a great day!

Running behind--Top three for sketch 174!

Wow, I completely forgot to post last night.  Took my son to the drive in and didn't get home until 2am then ended up going right to bed.  And slept late too--image that.  We were supposed to be going away for the weekend by my SIL is really sick and we were afraid to go too far since she may not make it much longer.  So since we had to stay home and we already covered our days--we are just fishing, playing, and having fun!  Got to love that!  Anyway, here are my top three picks from last week.  In no particular order.  Please take a minute to check them out and leave a comment--the did a great job.  As did EVERYONE who played along last week!

Awesome samples ladies.  Thanks so much for playing along!

Here is my card for this week's blogger's challenge.  As much as I love this set I am not too happy with this card.  Lisa gave us an inspiration photo to work with and I combined it with the MoJo Monday challenge.

Here is my card...Super simple...

Re-do of first card on my blog.

That is the challenge on Latenightstampers this week. Find the first card you posted on your blog and re-make it. I was surprised that I didn't hate the card that was first posted. There are many cards from way back when that just make me laugh and say==what was I thinking! Here is the re-make card... This was also for the VC_Rocks challenge to use Early Espresso and at least two soft subtles colors.  Here is the original card..  . Not horrible but not fabulous either--then again neither is the re-make, lol!

Stamps for new card: Flower Fest, and Happy Greetings.
Paper: Early Espresso, Whisper White, Rose Red
Ink: Rose Red, Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery, Early Espresso
Other: ribbon, circle scissors plus, rhinestones,  border punch
Thanks for stopping by today--hope you have a great day!

Blogger's Challenge--a sketch

Running a bit late this week on posting due to Blogger difficulties. This week we have a sketch that our mom (Lisa) created for us.  I combined it with the Latenightstamper's challenge for this week to make a Father's day card and with the VC_Rocks color challenge too.  The colors are Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, and Certainly Celery.  (hmmmm, seems I missed the celery on this, lol!--be right back after I fix that!)  I back and it is all fixed now!

I am still having so much fun with this set. Can't believe it a definite must have for easy masculine cards.

Stamps: Stamps: Open Seas, Plane and Simple
Paper: Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery, dp
Ink: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze
Other: embossing folder, modern label punch

Check everyone's samples below--and even play along if you wish!

Happy today!

TGIF--to the most extreme this week!

This is the first chance I have had ALL week--since Monday to even get near my computer--don't ask, just trust is was a very long, stressful, busy week, lol.  I have over 1500 e-mails to weed through and I am behind on so many of my Design Team stuff for Latenightstampers and I really NEED to get some stamping time.  Unfortunately it probably won't happen until at least Saturday night.  Luckily I do have a card to post for this week's Blogger's Challenge.  Lisa says the theme is Nature and although this is NOT what I would have made for the challenge--I think it can fit--some things do just work out!  So since I am so far behind this has to be fast and simple.  Here is my card....

Such Springy colors--although it sure don't feel like spring.

Stamps:  A flower for all seasons, Teeny Tine Wishes
Paper: Pretty in pink, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black
Other: markers, word window punch, label punch, ribbon, top note die, tulip frame embossing folder

You can see the other players in this week's blog hop below--Hey, you can even play along too if you want!

Hope you have a fabulous weekend!
And I hope to be back in the studio stampin and back here posting real soon!

More challenges...

Ok, so the challenge this week on Latenightstampers is to use at least embellishments on your card--they could be the same or different-and of course you can use more than three--but no less. My first two cards for this challenge are combined with sketch challenges. First one is using the 411 sketch for this week...
I think is is a fun and easy sketch.  I chose to use the new Strength and Hope stamp set that Stampin Up is using to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer.  Such an awesome set.  Here is my card for this sketch...

Stamps: Strength and Hope
Paper: Marina Mist, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
Ink: Marina Mist, Pretty in Pink, Basic Black
Other: ribbon, sponges, rhinestones

The next card is using the Sketch Frenzy Friday Sketch

And here is my card using this sketch..

Stamps: In Wilderness, Just Believe
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Whisper White
Ink: Old Olive, Chocolate Chip
Other: embossing folder, sponges, brads, label punch

Hope you are having a fabulous beginning to your week!
See ya soon!

Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 172! (TSSC172)

Before I begin I need to ask, did you guys hear the breaking news!!!

Did you guys hear this??

Osama bin Laden is dead and the United States has his body--the President is expected to make an announcement at any time now! Looks like I will be up for a bit--have to hear the details. Hard to believe after all these years.
Now back to regularly scheduled posting..... Welcome to another week of my Monday Lunchtime sketch challenge.  I hope you will find time to play along.  The sketch is a bit unusual this week and I am not overly thrilled with my sample so I hope to be shown up by ALL OF YOU!  Shouldn't be too hard, lol.  Don't forget that this is now a blog hop.  If you add the code to you post at the end while in Edit HTML mode it will show all the samples on your blog too!  Here is this week's sketch.....

And of course my sample--(I say that as if I am NEVER late with my sample, lol)....
I am not sure where I came up with this color combo--is it October 31st?  Anyway, hope you play along...

Thanks for stopping by...Mary Jo
