Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 309 (TSSC309)

It amazes me that I have been doing these challenges for 309 weeks!  That is crazy!  I am so glad you find time to play along.  I hope you do this week too.  It is a super easy one.

I kept my card super simple but I love it. It is so springy looking.

I just love tulips--I am always so excited when they begin to bloom.  This year I may have an issue though my two new puppies love to dig up EVERYTHING! I may not have any flowers, or even grass this summer.  UGGGG.  Good thing they are so loveable and cute.

Stamps:  Blessed Easter, Express Yourself
Paper: Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, Watercolor Wonder DP
Ink: Basic Black, Tangerine Tango
Other: markers

Now for the rest of the amazing TSSC team--they are so creative and talented.

Wow, so many different ideas and styles from one sketch--LOVE IT.

Now it is your turn to play along.
Don't forget to come on back and link up to the linky tool below.
Here are a few rules of play....

  1. You have a full week to play along!
  2. Create a new card using the sketch as your inspiration.
  3. Use any products you choose.
  4. Add your card to your blog or other on-line spot and link back to this challenge.
  5. Come back here and add a direct link to your sample for the challenge and NOT you home page of your blog--people will not look for your challenge card--trust me.
  6. And this one is not really a rule but a request--get rid of that word verification!  It makes it hard for us to comment on your samples.  It is easier for you to delete the spam then for us to jump through tons of hoops to comment.  If your put your comments on moderation you do not have to worry about spam--you will have the option to delete it BEFORE it ever goes on your blog so you will ALWAYS be safe!
  7. Have fun and tell you friends to play too!

    Thanks, Mary Jo

Chevron Border Punch

Still struggling to get my mojo back after being sick, having a flooded craft room and kid issues, lol.  But none the less it is helping me to make some simple cards, which are perfect for people who don't like to add extra postage so it is all good.  Today I am making a card with my least favorite paper from the free SAB paper pack.  Can you see it peeking though the punched out shapes.  I can not bear to use it any other way--just way too busy for my taste.  I do think the card is cute though--what do you think?

Stamps: Express Yourself
Paper: Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe, Basic Black and Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black
Other: rhinestones, Chevron Border punch

Hope you are having a fabulous week!

Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 297! (TSSC297)

Monday again, already!  Well at least we get to work on a new sketch for the week!  That is always a day brightener in my world!  Here is this week's sketch....

I chose to make a love card--but with nontraditional colors.  I am so in love with the colors on the Retro Fresh Designer Series paper--so much I did just a new tutorial with it--hopefully will be done typing it by Tuesday.  But back to this post, here is my sample...

Aren't these colors fun!?  I love the hearts too.  The arrows on the paper made me think of hearts, lol.
Stamps: Express Yourself
Paper: Costal Cabana, So Saffron, Tangerine Tango, Baked Brown Sugar, Very Vanilla and Retro Fresh Designer Series paper
Ink: Coastal Cabana
Other: rhinestones, Hearts a Flutter Framelits, Owl punch, Scallop edge punch, black marker, Tangerine Tango ribbon, Perfect Polka dots embossing folder

Now for the amazing team samples.
