Take Two Tuesday!

Welcome to Take Two Tuesday where I take an old sample and recreate it using current products!  I love doing this--essentially I am just casing myself, lol.  But it sounds better to call it Take Two Tuesday!  Don't you agree?

I try to do these without much thought of what sample I pick from the pile and what set I use.  So when I randomly picked today's sample I was a bit bummed as I have not crafted in a bit and I really didn't even like the sample I picked to case!  But what the heck--I gave it a go anyway.  I seriously need to up my game with my designer paper.  I stopped ordering it for a while as I could not use it fast enough before it retired, but now I am down to only one current paper pack!  So you notice I have made all my cards using the same designer paper lately.  Good think I love the paper!

It is not one of my favorites...but it sure felt good to craft so I am not complaining in any way!  It is too good to be back at it.

This was the first time I pulled out the dies that match the Colorful Seasons set--they are pretty awesome!  And there are a lot of dies in the set.  The stamped leaf in the background is from the Colorful Seasons set along with the sentiment.  Mint Macron and Rich Razzleberry seemed like a strange combo at first but it has grown on me a bit.  I cut the veins of the leaf with the polka dot paper to try to pull it all together???  Not positive it worked but as I said before--I am ok with it.

Take Two Tuesday! Bella style.

Seems I am finally getting back on track--Monday Mailer and Take Two Tuesday!  Yippee...I am so proud of myself, lol.

It has been a couple of weeks so I will answer that question--what is Take Two Tuesday? Each Tuesday I randomly--kinda 😏-- pick an older card from my stash to re-create using new products and ideas.  I have to admit that sometimes I like the old card better than the re-creation--but sometimes not!  At the end I always ask for your thoughts about which one you like best.  Kind of fun.

So here we go .....

My first picture is both cards together....

I actually think both cards are cute this week.  I didn't really think about the fact that the original card is a non Stampin Up image.  The paper is Stampin Up though.  I think that little dog came from a dollar bin at JoAnn's if my memory serves me correctly.  I thought that all of the little piece made the card adorable.  And the dog image too so I decided to stay with the dog theme and use Bella from Bella and Friends  Isn't she cute as can be????

I see now in the picture that maybe the words thank you should have been down a bit lower--I may have to change that after posting.   Other than that I think it turned out pretty cute.  The papers are from the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Love the fun colors!

Take Two Tuesday week 12

I am finally going to give you a sneak peek of the new products.  This set and papers will be in the new catalog.  Of course  it is available to purchase now though as a customer sneak peek!  You are going to love the beautiful specialty papers.  So beautiful.   Hard for me to pick which one I like better this week -- one is cute and one is pretty.  Tough choice for me.  What do you think?  Here are the two cards next to each other.

Such a fun layout--I need to remember this one and use it again soon!  I changed out the embossed hearts for designer paper.  The new ribbon is just beautiful--soft and pretty!  Not to mention the pretty pearls.  Love  them too!  I  wish I could get the photo to show the pearlized paper.  It is so stunning! Each of the sheets in this Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper is just fabulous.  The images in the catalog do not do it justice at all.
