Whachadoin' Friday????--huh??

Ok so if you have been reading along with my recent posts you know that I don't have my last challenge card for the SUINK Wednesday Challenge because I sold it and didn't have a picture of it. So since I needed to make a new one I figured I would combine it with the Blogger's challenge which is "It's your birthday!" Hence my little fishey card.

You can see the original SUINK challnege inspiration piece at this post

My card is a tri-fold with windows. Not exactally what I had in mind but still kinda cute! Here is the card from the front.

And now with the first flap open....

and now fully open.

Happy Friday! I believe I am spending the day at the theme park with four children--I know I am going to have fun!

One is late and one is early and one is on time.

This has been a fabulous week at VBS but it has really cut into stampin time, lol. I am certainly not complaining though, you have to experience it to know how wonderful it is to work with over 200 children sharing the love of God. Incredible. I teach music and let me tell you these guys are ROCKIN God's House! Too fun.

So my Whachadoin' Wednesday challenge should have been posted this morning but I honestly forgot, so now it is late. The good news is that it is the same theme as the Three Clover's Thursday Challenge so I can use it for both, one late and one on time! The theme for the week on both challenges was--super summery cards.

And then I decided to use the new sketch on the CPS blog. It's a fun one.

Come on and join me by playing at least one of these challenges--or why not all three? Here is my card.

Stamps: Get your Goggles On (SUINK)
Paper: Scrap in a Snap DP Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White and Basic Black
Ink: Basic Black
Other: flowers, ribbon copics brads, embossing folder

Mary Jo (I have no idea why I can not get the underlining to turn off. So I am just going to leave it. Hope you don't mind too much.

Whachadoin' Wednesday Challenge #49

Welcome to another week of Whachadoin' Wednesday Challenges on Storage Units Ink and More.

This week's challenge is in honor of my husband's birthday. Today is his birthday so I thought it would be fun to share some masculine card ideas with each other. I hope you will play along. You can leave a comment on the original post with your link so we can all get new ideas.

My husband is not into sports, or fishing or the normal stuff like that he is more into cars, computers, rebuilding tractors and such. So when I found this graphic I know I had to use my new Gazelle to cut it out and make it into a card. I thought one of our robot SU-inkies would be cute on it. What do you think?

Stamps: Robot SU-inkies
Paper: Coredinations grey, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black

Whachadoin' Wednesday? Scrapbook page

SUINKWWC40 –Let’s get scrappy –

In honor of National Scrapbooking Month why not make a scrapbook page using our fun
stamps. The reality is that some of the sets seem to be just screaming to be used on a
scrapbook page. Let’s see what you can come up with. Any size page is great. You
chose. Please use the keyword SUINKWWC40 when posting online.

I apologize for the lousy picture of this but I did not check it before I sent it off to Denise and now I can not re-take the picture. Sorry. I will say that I will NEVER do scrapbook pages that have to be sent to others again, lol! I do not get enough scrapbooking done and when I do a page I want to keep it--not send it to someone else, lol. My son was so excited that I was scrapbooking him again, it has been a while and then so mad when I said I had to send them to Denise. He said "geez Mom, what does she want pictues of me for? Won't she give them back?" So if nothing else this may get me to do more pages, I hope.

My page today is showcasing the new papers, flowers and ribbon that will be available at SUINK on the 15th! I used the Core-dinations card stock that can be purchased there too! So fun to work with. And it is also using the Butterfly Garden Stamp Set. Hope you like it. It is a picture of my son when he was 4 years old after a Butterfly release party at pre-school.

Hope you have a fabulous Wednesday. See ya soon.

Don't forget about all the "other" people we know who are mother's. It is not only our Mother who is great--but don't tell my mom that, shhhhhh. So for today's challenge we are celebrating ALL the mothers in our lives. Friends, family, church members, club members there are lots of them if we think about it. Let show off those fabulous Mother's day cards. Hope you will play along! Please use SUINKWWC39 when uploading online. Thanks and have a Wonderful Wednesday

Here is my card, I am not real happy with it though. Not sure what it is I don't like, I think it is the colors. I combined it with the Splitocaststampers SC227 and CC217--maybe one too many challenges this ti

Whachadoin' Wednesday Challenge #28

Now that Valentines is out of the way it is time to start thing about other things....hence this week's challenge. Create a treat holder for St. Patty's Day or a Favor for a Wedding our Shower. You can pick which ever theme works for you as long as you have fun with it! We would love to see what you create so be sure to come on back and leave us a link.

Be sure to use the keyword SUINKWWC28 when posting on line.

Here is mine.

I chose the wedding favor. This is a bottle of wine with the a label that says Thanks for sharing our day! That is the favor and then this little altered picture frame is being used as the pl;ace card. Goin' to the Chapel is such a fun set with all the cute wedding images. Did you notice the wine charms hanging on the bottle -- one for the bride and one for the groom. I had lots of fun with this set. (I actually gave my blog readers a sneak peek of the bottle at the beginning of the month but not the place card.

Hope you have a GREAT day!
