Couple of challenge samples for VC_Rocks

I actually have been so busy that even if I find time to stamp I have NOT been able to find time to post.  Sorry about that but stuff happens, right?!

Here are two samples for this week's challenge on VC_rocks.  We were to used the one of the in color collections or the brights collection and make a birthday project.  I used the brights for the scrapbook page and the brand new not released yet-in colors from the new catalog on the card. I also used a set that will be in the new catalog.  Hope you enjoy.  I don't have all the details in front of me so if you have questions please feel free to leave it in the comments section.  Add your e-mail so I can reply--blogger does not give me e-mails to reply to comments.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Enjoy your weekend!  Mary Jo

Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 179! (TSSC179)

Moving right along with our challenges!  Here is week number 179!  Another circle sketch.  Hope you have fun with it.

My sample is using a brand new set that will be in the new catalog.  Only the duck image is part of the set.  The words are from a different non Stampin Up! set. I had to keep it pretty simple since I only had five minutes this morning, lol!  I tried out my copic air brush system that I have had for over a year and only used once.  I didn't like it but found out this weekend that I had it hooked up wrong--go figure, lol!  So here is my fast and super simple--yet kind of cute sample!

Don't forget that we are now doing a blog hop with the sketch challenge. That means if you add the code to the Edit HTML section of your post all of the samples will also show up on your blog.  Thanks so much for stopping by and can't wait to see what you come up with for this sketch.

For the boys! Blogger's challenge.

I have missed the last few week's of the Blogger's challenge due to being so busy with end of school and a couple of family deaths and of course my sister in law is actually doing better (a few weeks ago we didn't think we would have her around this long) now we think she will be around for a bit!  Not sure how long but we will take what we can get!  I hope you are all having a great week.  Enjoy all the fabulous projects that the girls have made for this challenge.  Masculine is hard for many so I am sure you will get new ideas on this hop.  Here is my card for the challenge.

I am so in love with this stamp set (I know I am repeating myself from past posts) It is so easy to work with.

Enjoy your weekend!

Clean Birds!

This was one of the cards for my All Occasions Class this month.  Such a cute image, don't you think?  This stamp set is from the new Summer mini it is called Touch of Kindness.  I also used the sentiment stamp set called Happy Greetings.

This also qualifies for this week's challenge on Latenightstampers--to make a card that has something/anything to do with water.  I figure the bird bath certainly works here!

Stamps: Touch of Kindness, Happy Greetings
Paper: Real Red, So Saffron, Whisper White, real red dp
Ink: Basic Black
Other: markers, corner rounder, floral embossing folder

Thanks for stopping by today.  See ya tomorrow for the blogger's challenge which will feature another card from this months class.
