What do you get when you mix a bunch of fusion flowers with $1.20 worth of dollar store items?

My blogger's challenge of course! Today's challenge was to alter something. I had so much fun with this. It would be a great mom and me class for little girls or a birthday party craft. You could cut the flowers from felt with our Big Shot instead to keep the cost low. I paid $1 for the visor and 20 cents for the coozie. In a package of 6 for $1.20 on clearance. Sure wish I would have bought more, may have to go back and look.

Anyway my project for today is obviously an altered coozie and visor. Fun fun fun! Here is a picture of both.

And if you can get past the no make-up and nasty hair day here is the visor. Of course I had to take a picture of myself so it is in the bathroom where I could see in the mirror, lol

And then here is a close up of the coozie.

I had to use a drill for the visor because there is a hard piece of plastic inside. But the coozie was just with the paper piercier.

Stamps: none
Onk: none
Paper: none
Other: coozie, visor, fusion flowers, pretties kit for brads. Easy and fun!

See ya later

Three Clover's Thrusday Challenge

Welcome to 3 Clovers Thursday Challenge #10!

Thanks for coming by today!

I hope that you enjoy this week's challenge!

It's a Zoo around here!!

(animal images)

To participate please upload your card to your blog or SCS and leave a direct link to that post with Mr. Linky on Kerry's Blog. Use the keyword 3CTC10 when posting online.

Seems I needed to use that Welcome to the Zoo set one more time. I have had these pencils sitting on my work space for a while. So I figure I should probably do something with them. Since this set was still on my desk and Kerry wanted animals for her challenge it seemed the time had come. I know in our house we are anxiously awaiting summer vacation from school but before you know it we will be heading back--time goes much too fast! Not that I have any silly notions that I would be able to find these project next September, lol!

Stamps: Welcome to the Zoo and Touch of Class both SUInk sets
Paper: Chocolate Chip, DCWV dp, Whisper White
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Basic Black
Other: Copics, ribbons, pencils, circle punch, scallop circle punch, scallop border punch

You may need to click on the image to get a better view.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a fabulous finish to your day!

Whachadoin' Wednesday?

Welcome to another edition of Whachadoin' Wednesday! We are on week 37 already and this is a fun one. This Week's challenge is Same But Different. Make two card with your choice of...
same layout, same colors, same stamps, step it up theme you get the picture. I would love for you to leave a comment on this blog post with a link to your creations so we can all come and see. Please use the keywords SUINIKWWC37 when posting online.

My cards are using the same basic layout, the same stamp set and the same second challenge which is the OCC challenge to use something you would throw in the trash. Perfect for Earth Day right! Both cards are also using tags from clothing. So lots of sames going on, lol. Here is the tag that I used on the first card.

And of course here is the card. I love love love this stamp set, such cute animals. It is called Welcome to the Zoo.

I had to do some altering of the sign so it said Life is a Zoo instead of Welcome to the Zoo.

Stamps: Welcome to the Zoo
Paper: DCWV dp and Chocolate chip and Very Vanillia
Ink Chocolate Chip
Other: tag from jeans and distressing tool, Copics

Here is the next card using the same basic layout and same stamp set with some altering again to get the monkey to face both ways.

Stamps: Welcome to the Zoo, the tree is from the Bump in the Night Set
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, and some new recycled paper I got that I don't have the name handy I will edit this later.
Ink: Basic Black
Other: tag from Jeans, ribbons, word window punch

And here is the tag.

Sorry for the quick post I am late for Physical Therapy!'
See ya later.
