Try Stamping on Tuesday!

My week to post for the design team of Try Stamping - or not- on Tuesday challenge blog.  At first look at the sketch I was like oh my, what the heck am I going to do with that.  But after a  bit of thought this idea came to me and I think it is just adorable--especially since that in a Valentine set and I love the use sets for cards they are not originally designed for.  Be a great young boy card.

Stamps: Hey Valentine, Cupcake Party, And Many More and Just Saying
Paper: Basic Gray, Whisper White, Back to Black DP, scrap dp
Ink: Basic Black, Real Red
Other: word bubble framelits, markers
Here is the sketch for you to consider playing along with us.

I just wanted to mention the name change before I go.  We are now "Try Stampin' - or Not - on Tuesday.  Too many of you thought that you have to stamp in order to enter a card.  That is not the case.  ALL FORMS of crafting are encouraged. So come on and play along.

1st and 3rd Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 361 (TSSC361)

Welcome back-it seems weird to be posting twice a month instead of every week--but I am still convinced it is a better idea.  So with the new posting schedule you have a minimum of two full weeks to play along with the challenges!  So no excuses about not having enough time to schedule the post!  The sketches are now being posted on the 1st and 3rd Mondays.  So here is the 3rd Monday's post--sketch 361.....

I kept my card really simple this week--it is for a young little boy who is very special to me and he LOVES anything to do with fish and aquatic animals.  So I think he will love this with all those fish in the background.  Sometimes simple is hard to do -- even with all those fish on there it felt like it needed something?!

Stamps: Sea Street
Paper: Maritime DSP, Calypso Coral, Soft Sky
Ink: Calypso Coral, Pacific Point, Whisper White
Marker, word window punch, googly eyes

I know it is a weird color combo but.......

How about checking out the rest of the teams amazing samples with this sketch....

1st and 3rd Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 360 (TSSC360)

Welcome to a the brand new 1st and 3rd Monday Technostamper Sketch Challenge-due to lower participation every other week I have decided to only post new sketches on the 1st and 3rd Mondays. That means you will get a full two weeks (sometimes even more) to play along. I decided to do the 1st and 3rd so that it is always consistent and you know when to look for the new sketch and when you have to have your design in by! I hope this allows for more people to play along with each sketch!  So let's begin with the new sketch....

A great sketch with so many possibilities.  I chose to use the stamp set Sheltering Tree for a simple thank you card that can be used for any gender.  I just love this set--I do have a tutorial created for it, but need to get it typed.  Hopefully in the next few days.  But anyway back to this card....

Stamps: Sheltering Tree, Crazy About You
Paper: Blackberry Bliss, Sahara Sand
Ink: Sahara Sand, Blackberry Bliss
Other: marker, Hello You Thinlits

And now for the rest of the teams samples....
