Blogger's Challenge-- Sketch--Male/Female

Today Blogger's Challenge is a sketch challenge. You all know I love sketches so I made two cards. They are the same but VERY different. So let's start with the sketch that our "mom" Lisa gave us to work with. Simple enough, I like it...... And you know I am combining them with my You're Hired Again Series this is card 3 and 4. Both cards are 100% Current Stampin Up! products.

The first card was actually for my husband. I used the Wanted set along with the Absolutely Fabulous set (who would have thought to put these together, lol). You see my husband and myself have been through some pretty tough times over the years but no matter what, I still love him and we continue to work on our marriage. Sometimes it takes LOTS of work and other times -- not so much. But either way he is still WANTED.

Here is the inside of the card.....

Stamp: Wanted, Absolutely Fabulous
Paper: Kraft, Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Ink: Chocolate Chip, White, Riding Hood Red
Other: tool kit, brads, scallop circle punch, 1 1/4 circle punch, Sticky Letters, glitter

The next card is a Mother's Day card. Simple and pretty so different than the one before, don't you think? I used the Absolutely Fabulous set again but this time it is matched up with the Fifth Avenue Floral and Urban Oasis DP.

Here is the inside....

Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, All Holidays, Absolutely Fabulous
Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White, Urban Oasis DP
Ink: Pacific Point, Basic Black, Kiwi Kiss
Other: old olive brads, ribbons, circle scissors plus, white gel pen, markers and photo corner punch.

I am running late so got to fly. Be sure to check out the other players--the link is at the lower part of my sidebar.

Have a blessed day!
Mary Jo

Great use of this weeks sketch card. I'm sure DH will love his, as well as mom loving the beautiful flowers on hers.

Wow! Both these cards are fabulous. I so love the card you did for your hubby (and the fact you admit your marriage takes, "work" as I know mine has and does) - Love the Mother's Day card as well. Great way to showcase the Lily in the set.

Great job on both, but I love the Wanted card. Another stamp set that never sees ink anymore. I'm inspired now!

What a great idea to create a masculine and a feminine card with the same sketch!! The first card is seriously awesome with all the distressing and torn edges and your mothers day card is beautiful with that big flower and elegant color scheme!
