Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 81

Busy day on Monday--VBS starts at church and we have record numbers of children preregistered. (praise God) It is also the sketch challenge (of course) and the SUINK blog hop. Be sure to check back early to hop along with us. But first why not stamp with us using this weeks sketch.

I am so excited that I actually came up with a card for this. I was really feeling like I had no MoJo today. I did manage to make 5 cards but the census is still out on if they are any good, lol. I was also able to combine them with the new challenge on Latenight Stampers. This week's challenge is to create cards that are monochromatic. So here we go. First the sketch...

Pretty easy one huh? Funny it looks so easy but it had me stumped today for a bit. I think it was the tilted piece. But with a deadline upon me I was able to pull it together. My first card has the addition of the sizzix daisies. I love those die cuts, don't you. Too pretty. I used Soft Suede and Saraha Sand.

Stamps: Friendly Words Wheel, One of a Kind
Paper: Soft Suede, Sahara Sand, Whisper White Throughly Modern dp
Ink: Soft Suede
Other: Sizzix die, Big Shot, polka dot ribbon, pretties kit, staple, tag corner punch

Next I went with the combo of Taken with Teal and Bermuda Bay.

Stamps: Uppsy Daisy
Paper: Taken with Teal, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Throughly Modern DP
Ink: bermuda Bay
Other: embossing folder SU, rubons Chit Chat collection, scallop border punch, white gel pen, sponge.

And in case that is not enough a few of the girls were kind enough to share their samples early with us so here is a sample from

Now you have lots of ideas, so come on and play along. The code word for this week is TSSC81. After you create your card don't forget to come one back and leave a link on Mister Linky so we can all come see and I can showcase it at the end of the week. Happy stamping.

you'd never be able to tell from your creations that this one had you stumped. You did a great job with it!

I love your cards, MOJO is definitely where it needs to be. Came here from LNS. Imagine my happiness when I heard Mercy Me start playing. You listen to the same genre of music I do. I am going to CASE your monochromatic card for a swap I am doing this month for the card group I am in my hometown. TFS and for the inspiration.
