Little by little I just keep on going.....

Yippee only  10:30am and I have Three more challenges covered!  This card is for yesterday's color challenge on Stampin Connection--Garden Green, Tempting Turquoise and Certainly Celery--beautiful together by the way!  And also for today's inspiration challenge, also on Stampin Connection.  Here is the inspiration photo.  And also the Latenight stamper challenge to use punches.

I was inspired by all the white with splashes of colors and the shelves of three baskets.
Here is my card.......

It was hard not to go back and add to some of the white but that was what I wanted from the inspiration picture--just so not my norm.  I really do love these colors together though, and can you tell I am addicted to the Flight of a Butterfly lately!  Funny since I have had it since it very first came out and have not really used it much at all.  Weird how that works.

Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly, Pocket Silhouettes
Paper: Certainly Celery, Whisper White, Garden Green
Ink: Certainly Celery, Garden Green, Tempting Turquoise
Other: makers, fancy label punch, butterfly punch

Thanks for stopping by today--hope you are enjoying your week!
Many Blessings

Moving right along I got a few more challenges done today!  The first is last week's color challenge on Stampin Connection--Pale Plum, Rich Razzleberry, Bordering Blue.  I combined the color  chalelnge with Shelli's Spring challenge.  And the second is today's sketch challenge on SCS.  Little by little, lol!

This next card is a rustic looking birthday.  I haven't been over on the SCS challenges for a while and wouldn't you know the first one back is a tough one.  This is one of those cards that I think I am sooo close to liking by not really sure I am there yet, lol!  Ever have one of those?

Thanks for stopping by--I may even go make a couple more cards today!  Yippee.  I do have to get something ready for tonight's pot luck dinner at church before the Ash Wednesday Service  but I think I will still have time.

3 down, 1000's to go!

Ever feel like you will NEVER get caught up!  Yea, me too.  I am trying to get caught up on some challenges I have been wanting to get to but can's seem to get enough time.  Why or why do we have to do silly things like cook, clean, laundry--you know what I am getting at!  Our days should be filled with stamping and nothing more--except for spending time with my son--he can stamp with me, lol!

Anyway, I was able to get three challenges done!

The sketch challenge on Stampin Connection
and
The Stampin Connection Technique Challenge--emboss resist.

This first one is for the 411 sketch....

Stamps: Close as a Memory
Paper: Orchid Opulence, Pale Plum, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Razzleberry Lemonade
Ink: Basic Black
Other: markers, ribbon, sponges

This next card is a combo of the sketch and technique challenges on Stampin Connection (US demo only site)

Stamps: Whimsical Words, Medallion
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, Chocolate Chip, Glossy White
Ink: VersaMark, Rose Red, Pretty in Pink
Other: Sweet Pea felt, oval punch, scallop oval punch, white embossing powder, embossing gun, brad, ribbons, sponges, white gel pen

Maybe I will get a few more done tomorrow?? Who knows my son is waiting for me again.

Abundant Hope and a new look.

What do you think of the new look?  I love it.  And it only took a few minutes.  Too fun.

I have quite a few cards that I keep forgetting to post and still have some Valentine stuff too.  Here is a card I mad for a class with the beautiful Abundant Hope set.

Isn't this simple design just beautiful!  I love it.
Stamp: Abundant Hope
Paper: More Mustard, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Chocolate Chip
Other: markers, watercolor pencils, ribbon, embossing folder

I hope to have some time tomorrow to catch up with a bunch of challenges--I am way behind on the Stampin Connections ones.  But my little guy is off school this week for winter break so I am tying to spend lots of time with him.  I love when he is off.

Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 109!

I am so glad you stopped by for this week's sketch challenge.  I certainly hope you will play along.  If you do please do not forget to come back and leave a link to your card on Mister Linky so we can all see it.

I really enjoyed last week's sketch and I seem to think this one is an easy one too!  I am about to watch a movie with my son so I will make this quick tonight.

Before I show you the sketch I would like to let you know that both cards are also part of my DT submission on the Latenightstamper's.  The new challenge for this week will be to use punches!  Wow, that is really an easy one huh?

So now here is the sketch for you to try out.....

I actually made two cards for today's sketch.

This first one is using all supplies that were just sitting on my work area already--too lazy to get up to get something else, lol!

Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly, Whimsical Words
Paper: Whisper White, Real Red
Ink: Basic Black, Real Red
Other: markers, Slit Punch, Scallop edge punch, ribbon, white gel pen

This second card is a patriotic card--not sure if I like it or not??  Maybe a bit too busy with the two different colors wheeled on there???

Stamps: Service and Sacrifice, Hero Wheel
Paper: Night of Navy, Real Red, Whisper White, Black
Ink: Real Red, Night of Navy, Craft White
Other: slit punch, scallop edge punch, brads, scallop oval punch

So that is it for me--I can smell the popcorn, I sure hope he didn't start without me.

Hope you have a wonderful Valentines day.  Just another day around here--insert sad face here--
