Swirly Bird with Swirly Scribbles

You would not believe how many stamp sets I have that I have not touched yet--seems I can not get in the swing of things--my studio is a bit all over the place and each card I make has me up and down stairs and back and forth from old house to new house looking for things--not as fun as creating when everything is in one place.

That is part of the reason I decided to begin doing classes now--so I would have to create.  This was one of the cards that we made at the last All Occasions Class--it uses the Swirly Bird Stamp set with the matching Swirly Scribbles Thinlits dies that come in the bundle--I love the bundles that Stampin Up has been selling you know if you get the set you are going to want the dies to go with it so might as well save some MOOLA--right?!

Below is a list of all the supplies used for the card--you may have to scroll down on the side to see them all--can't seem to get them to load the other way right now.

Thanks so much for stopping by today--hope to see you soon.
Lots of challenges and classes to prepare for!

Sweetest little baby bear.

I am really struggling with getting back on track with posting on here.  I think I have a plan to get back on track--we shall see.  I do have a few cards made that I have not shared though so I will begin with this darling little bear card.

Isn't this just the cutest little bear ever.  This is one of the new realistic three step stamps in the new catalog.  It is so cute in so many different colors.  I can't wait to play with it again.  A quick tip for you if you have this set---when you stamp each layer line up the armpits of the bear and it will look so cute when done.  I originally tried to line up the head and body but it wasn't working right.  This is such a simple card bu really really cute.  I used Crumb Cake ink stamped off once for the base, then the next layer was full Crumb Cake and the top layer is Soft Suede.  Cute as can be.  Garden green is the base of the card and the color used for the bow--it is stamped off once for the base layer then used full strength for top details.

Thanks for stopping by--hope you enjoyed my card.

Team Blog Hop!

So the weirdest thing happened!  I posted this a few days before the day it would appear on here for you guys to see.  Then I got up early on Monday morning and check out my post--looked good and thought I can't wait to see the rest of the teams samples--but have to run got a few crazy days coming up.  Now those crazy days came and went and here I come to check out the other designs and to check out the hop via my links on my blog and there is NOTHING on my blog anymore but pictures!  All of the writing and links are gone--WHAT???!!!!  That has never happened before??  So needless to say this post as been more than messed up for the last two days.  I am going to try to fill in some details but am not home and don't really have time to do all that I did originally--sorry.  But here I go....  Welcome to this months blog hop.  Again I am sorry if you were here and it was not what it was supposed to be -- some crazy glitch I guess...

All of my cards for today are continuing to use the new and limited Thoughtful Branches Bundle.  I mixed it with the new in-colors and some Soft Suede and Whisper White.  Love the new in colors.  And this set is crazy versatile--any gender, any occasion!  My goal for today's cards was to make some gender friendly cards to keep in my stash--so I have them for ANYONE--male or female.  The first card is using the new in color Emerald Envy and Soft Suede along with the woodgrain embossing folder.  I also used a few circle punches.  You can see a complete list of supplies for all cards at the end.

This card is using Dapper Denim.  Love this color and I love any stamp set with birds and these cute little ones are so fun especially with the matching dies so there is no fussy cutting.  Love that!

And finally I chose to show off the Peekaboo Peach in color.  Love how all of the new colors match so nicely with the soft suede color.  I love the leaf in this set--so pretty and again can be cut with the matching die!

Thanks so much for stopping by for this hop--be sure to check out the rest of the teams designs!  They are all so talented you will not be sorry.  Next in the list is Nancy Amato--you can get there by clicking the image below.

Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge 203

So I found a new to me challenge--which I will need since I will not be doing my own challenges again--at least not for a while.  It is hard enough to just get back up and running

BTW--I am looking for challenges to play along with--what are your favorites??
Leave me a comment so I can check them out.

I still need to get 90% of my supplies from my old home.  Who knows when that will happen.  So in the mean time thank goodness for NEW SUPPLIES!  I am creating cards for my first class of my new demonstratorship which of course will have to use the new Thoughtful Branches stamp set since it is only available for a limited time.  It is amazing anyway so I am glad to play with it first.  So with all of that being said here is my card for the challenge......

I so love trees and nature!  It truly makes me feel relaxed to just sit and look at them.  Hence my reason for using them on this card--this could be a sympathy card or just for someone who is going through some hard times.  Here is the inside of the card.....

And of course I need to show you the sketch challenge too....

http://www.papercraftcrew.com/category/challenges/card-sketch/
I don't have very many--or should I say I only have two embellishments available to me at the moment--rhinestones and Linen Thread--so I had to be a bit creative with them!  Why not come over and play along--it is a fun sketch!

Team Blog Hop!

I can not believe how excited I am!  Finally I created--first time in well over a year!  And how fun it was.  I am so happy that I decided to join my Stampin Up! Team blog hop--it forced me to finally get my butt in one spot--forget about all the new home stuff and just create!  It was so fun.  I used the new bundle called Thoughtful Branches.  What a great stamp set that comes with coordinating dies! This bundle will be available for non-demos from August 2nd until the 31st.  I combined the bundle with the brand new in colors.  Love them

So let me show you some of what I created for your viewing pleasure today.  My first project is actually going into a 12x12 frame and being sent to a friend of mine who is fighting cancer and other difficult things at the moment.  Thought it would be a nice reminder that I am thinking of her....Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall....

Isn't that fun--I love when you can make a stamp set work for any season or time of year.  This really is  a super versatile set.    I actually chose to make a simple thank you card next--one that could be used for any gender!  This time I used the the leave stamp and die.

I am really loving this new color Emerald Envy.  A really nice shade of green. I used the new in color Designer Paper stack too.  Love the font on the printed side of this paper.  Finally I had to make at lest one card with the hydrangea image as they are my favorites!  So I used the new Flirty Flamingo ink and paper for this fun girly card.

As I said previously this is such a fun set to work with--believe me you will be seeing much more with it from me!  Now that I created a few things I have the desire to do it more and more--of course you know how that goes.  So so good to be back!  Supplies listed at very end of post.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today.  I am thrilled to be back in action and hope that you will return again real soon.  Be sure to hop on over to Nancy's blog to see what she created for or hop. I know it will be amazing--our team is full of fabulous talent!  Click the link above or the image below to go to the next blog on the hop.  The entire blog hop list is also inserted for your convenience.

Thanks again for visiting please take a moment to leave a comment with you thoughts.
