Bouncing Brayer Technique.

So, it seems that I am on a challenge kick! This is a challenge on one of my groups. The challenge is to create a card using the Bouncing Brayer Technique. I found this challenge to be very hard. I looked around and did not see much that I liked with the technique, but I already signed up to do it, so I winged it. I did two samples. I am not sure which one I like better so I am hoping you all can help me pick. I will post the second sample tomorrow. Here are some of the details for this one. Although it is hard to tell from the picture the base of the card is Elegant Eggplant. The layer with the actual technique on it is glossy white card stock. I used the Parfait Kaleidacolor Spectrum pad. I followed that with a random stamping of "be happy" from the So Many Sayings Set in Stazon black. Here is where I run into trouble. I am not use to that much background showing and it would be pretty silly to cover it since that is the technique -- right. So I decided to stamp the large flower from Looks Like Spring on Whisper White card stock and cut it out as my focal point. I stamped it with the same Parfait pad. I used the large oval punch to make a couple of leaves in Certainly Celery. Next I threaded some light pink gingham ribbon through the holes on a pale plum button and added it to the center of the flower. The whole flower is popped up with dimensionals. Lastly I dyed a piece of twill tape in pink passion re-inker and attached it to the bottom using some hodgpodge hardware. That is it. Thanks for stopping by today -- check back tomorrow for the second card with this technique. (I think it is better than this one but I want to know what you all think)

Don't forget about the free year of Paper Crafts Magazine I am giving away! Check my blog for details. (It ends on Sunday night at 11:59 EST.)
