Blogger's Challenge #42 --------------------Make a Triangle Box

So of course I did it again -- I woke up at 6 am to realize it is Friday and I hadn't even thought about my challenge! Yikes, and I think it is the hardest one yet -- or is it???? I am not sure why but I have always be a bit intimidated by triangle boxes. I wonder if there is a name for this strange phobia of mine? I guess it don't really matter because the good news is I AM CURED! My first problem was that I knew I would not have time to search all over the internet for a pattern that I liked and then the other half of the problem is that I have been out of ink in my printer for over a week and keep forgetting to get the color I need so I could not have printed out a pattern if I wanted to -- go figure! So I thought I would just come up with my own - after all I did just break down and purchase a scor pal (which I LOVE) so how hard could it be right. Well to my joy and surprise it was really easy and I even made my triangle box into a gift card holder. I am so proud of myself this morning! And I am still on my first cup of coffee, image how the rest of the day will go! Whoooo Hoooo! So on to the box.

The box was so easy I made two! Of course they are not extremely embellished but two none the less!

Can you belive I am still using up paper from the SAB kits from last year! Look mom -- no stamps!

Here is how it looks open. And I even took pictures while I made it so I will post a tutorial after lunch today. My son only has a half day of school so I want to get my nails done and a couple errand before I pick him up. So come back later for the tutorial.

WOW! I am so impressed! The exact same thought ran through my mind, but I took the easy way out and not only downloaded a pattern, but printed it out on card stock too! It got jammed in my printer twice, and being a bit tenacious, took over my dh computer and decade old printer and printed it out on his! Doesn't get much easier than that! And I have a Scor-Pal too, but wasn't feeling very courageous!

You did a fantastic job with this challenge! KUDOS!
