Techno Take-Out Giveaway!

Here is it FINALLY! Sorry for the delay in posting this. And the delay in doing a Techno Take-Out. I missed a lot of opportunities to do it -- like 100,000 hits and other things too but it is a good one so it should make up for it, lol! If you visit my blog much you are quite aware of my love for our Lord and you are also aware of this new stamp company that I am so happy to support. Kelley at Our Daily Bread Designs is not only bringing us some beautiful Christian stamps to uplift our loved ones with but she has wonderful customer service too! There are only three sets in her line so far and I own ALL THREE! I will get some more samples made up for you but in the mean time be sure to take a look at her site and the design team samples -- they ROCK!

So good news for you -- there was a slight mix up in my last order and I accidentally received two of this set. And Kelley said to just keep it -- now I know I could have given it to a friend or I guess I could have even sold it but I thought she was so sweet to tell me to keep it that I should share with one of you lucky readers! I hope that you will all check out her site and support her in her new endeavor. The stamps are high quality and greatly priced! Here is the set that you can win.....

All you have to do to win is comment on this post telling me how you are celebrating Mother's day this year by Sunday May 4th at midnight (EST). I will post the winner before the next Monday Lunchtime sketch challenge!

Remember to check back to see if you won!

Our oldest daughter has invited me to come to a Mother-Daughter dinner at their church. I will do that -- I will also call my daughter-in-law to wish her a Happy Mother's Day. She is mommy to my 3 beautiful granddaughters who are almost 3 and twins 18 months. She is a busy Army Mommy.

This set is beautiful -- and i will be checking out her stamps. I would love to win this set!!

I have liked the Daily Bread stamp set, the light house set, I am surely going to get it some day soon, as soon as I saw it, on Pat's Technique Trail Blog. My daughter lives in Canada, so we cannot be together on mother's day, but I am sure she will talk to me on that day! Since, I live in England, I get a Mother's day card from her for UK Mother's day and then another one from Canada for the NA Mother's day! So I am blessed to be acknowledged by my daughter twice.

What a lovely set of stamps. I would love to have this set to make a card for my godson who will be getting confirmed on June 1. On Mothers Day we usually make cards for the Mothers and Grandmothers and give them something like potted flowers. Thanks for the awesome chance to win these beautiful stamps. Thanks Kathy Hering...

My mother turned 90 this month so having her around is a great Mother`s Day gift. We will all be going to Church and then to home for a great meal. My sons will no doubt find something in stamping to give to me...they know I love it. Just having them spend the day with us will be great. Enjoy your week.

My 7 yr old daughter wants to have a tea party for her 2 grandmas, 2 great grandmas and me. She wants us to dress up. She did this last year at school, but since we homeschool this year she wants to do it here for us :) She wants to make cakes with her easy bake oven and will use the tea set her grandma brought her back from Germany.

Blessings to you, Sherri

Boy I would love to win this beautiful set. I am celebrating mothers day by doing the annual Monatana's Womens run on Sat with my sister, God-daughter and another niece. Then on Sunday I will go to our church's annual mother's day brunch. I want to say I love your sight and the music.

I would LOVE to win this stunning set. My plans for Mother's Day consist of cooking dinner for my husband's family. Sadly I lost my dear Mom nine years ago, and while I deeply miss her everyday, God has blessed me with a wonderful Mother-in-Law who has filled a little of the void I feel. While no one can take my Mom's place in my heart, my MIL is totally worthy of a little pampering. My rotten kids won't be around, and I doubt that I even hear from them, so I'm turning my focus on those who appreciate and love me. (does that sound bitter???lol)

Cynthia said...

As usual we go to church and I act like a queen for the rest of the day. I also get coffee in bed which is unlike every other day. My boys spoil me rotten. Cynthia

Hi MaryJo. How are you?! I miss you! This is Lynn from NH. This set is too cute.

For Mother's Day this year, my little girls (ages 6 & 8) are planning a surprize party for me. Shhh!! Don't tell them that I know! They are full of plans and surprizes and are whispering about it way too much.

We are also going to a Mother/Daughter Tea on Saturday. Both of my girls are singing in a little girls choir for this event. I'm also singing and leading the ladies in several songs.

...It should be a great weekend. :)

I will be taking my mom to Curves. I joined and I made her join for her health as she has aneurysms and I want her stronger. She has lost 11"!! Then I will take her to lunch. I've been getting her to eat healthier when she eats out. Just being near her is such a blessing. Also, please enter me in your drawing. Since I am a Christian I really appreciate "religious" sets. Thanks!

Thanks for the chance to win this wonderful stamp set. My Mother's Day will start with Mass, where I sing in the choir, which I love to do. Then home with my husband and son. I may plant some flowers, depends on the weather.
Thanks,
Liz

Well we have a tradition at my house for Mother's Day. We go to the green houses and the kids and dh find something that they like and get me a new bush or two for the yard. I used to have the most beautiful bushes at my old house. They are trying to recoop them for me by buying me new ones. Snowball Bushes, Bleeding hearts.
I also buy my Mom a special plant and we alway go and deliver to her. And with a special card.
We also BBQ if it is not raining out.
I have no sets for this occasion and it would be so nice to have one. We have lots of First Communions coming up.

The plan as it stands today (things are ever changing in this house) is that after church my family will go to see my mom and dad, about a 2 hours drive each way but definitely worth it! We have to be together somehow, though!

Thanks for the chance to win..my daughters will have their first communion in a few years so this set will definitely come in handy! deidrelm@hotmail.com

I will be taking my mom to Curves. I made her join when I did and she (age 76) is gaining strength and balance. She's lost 11"! Then I'll take her to lunch or supper. Just helping take care of mom is my blessing.

This is a gorgeous stamp set. I would love to win this set. Well, I am going to ask my hubby and my 8 yr old son to come with me to the church and light a candle for my dearly mother (I lost her in March 2005). There was never a moment that I think of her. On the other hand I am so grateful to have the most wonderful mother in law who lives in London, Ontario Canada. So I am going to make her a special Mother's day card.
Thank you for your generosity and I'm hoping for you to have a wonderful mother's day.

Take care,
Rachel

I also would love to be the lucky winner as I am starting a card ministry next week at my church. For Mother's Day, we are celebrating early this weekend by traveling to our daughter's house and helping her with the move into her new home...it will be such a blessing to see them achieve this dream.

Wow! What a lovely set! My daughter is making her 1st Communion this Satureday. If only I had seen the set earlier! :)
For Mother's Day we will be hosting a brunch at our home for my mother, mother-in-law, and both sister-in-laws! (and me too of course!) We're praying for beautiful weather!

I, sadly, will not get to spend Mother's Day with my mom or my mother-in-law. Living so far away from them can be very difficult. It's hard, especially during days like those. I also don't have my own children...yet...so I probably won't be able to do anything except send a few gifts to them and give them a call. It's such a bummer! Anyway, thanks so much for this great opportunity! I would love to have this set. It is so incredibly neat!

Thanks for the chance to win blog candy! I'll be going to the nursing home and spending the day with mom. She can't do much since her stroke, but I'm going to bring in some small 100 piece puzzles. She likes to help find the border pieces. I'll bring her dinner, she enjoys home cooked food.

My hubby's mom is in a nursing home, so we usually take lunch and have a picnic with her. I see my mom more often so I usually just call her to chat.

Wow! I really want that set from Our Daily Bread. Will have to order it unless I am blessed to have my number picked!
I will probably take my mother out to dinner. My girls will probably not be able to be here for Mother's Day, but they always call on holidays.

I have already celebrated Mothers Day with my mom when she was at my house on her way home to PA from FL and did the stop in NC. I gave her the cutest solar flowers to put in front of her house!!! I can't wait til I can see them in person. she is the BEST.
Our grandson is having his first Holy Communion on Sat. and if I can win this set, I could make him a card to celebrate it with (even tho it would be late). I have the first set from Our Daily Bread and love it and would love to have this one. Thank you.

A friend that I grew up with, and I, are taking our mothers out for lunch. After that my mom, myself, my daughter, and her two daughters will go to the nursing home to see my grandma. I'm sure we'll take some five generation pictures and then have dinner with her ~ she likes when we bring her pizza.

I like the new stamps!

Oh I love Kellys stamps!!!
We usually combine my birthday with Mother's Day and the whole family, (I have 6 children), meets at my favorite restaurant to celebrate. This place resembles an old mining camp and is situated at the foot of the Superstition Mountains....the food is served family style, and all you can eat! We eat on metal plates and sit at long tables with benches! The atmosphere is wonderful! So, this year, as usual, we are making plans to head there and enjoy each other and some good grub!!!
Thank you for your offer!!! Wow!

I'm not even sure how I'm celebrating Mother's Day yet! Isn't that awful. I have to get through Derby weekend first before I can focus that far ahead! LOL I work for a Thoroughbred horse racing magazine and it's a bit crazy this time of year!

Mother's Day??? I don't know yet. I wish I could go to Peru and celebrate it there, but I can't (better say, no money). My in-laws don't live close to us, (3 hours travel) maybe we will go there. My husband was asking me what a want for Mother's Day and I said let me think about it, LOL.

I like your blog and I stop by very often.
Thanks for the chance to win, I love these stamps.

God bless

We are going to support a dear friend who will be doing his first sermon in the new Church they just planted (it is always great to see God at work!). They we are coming home to have a quiet day with just us: my DH, 2 DD (7 and 5) and DS (1). My DH will most likely BBQ and I will call my Mom. My MIL is in Austria and celebrates it on a different day but we will give her a call too anyway. Thank for the chance to win.

Not sure what we will be doing yet. Normally it is just a relaxing day for me. I get some 'me' time and DH takes the kids for a bit, so I can do what I want with my free time. Maybe dinner out - not sure yet.

My friend loves this site as well and has gotten a few of us on another group addicted to it as well!

My sis' bday is May 9, Mother's Day is May 11 and my bday is May 14. We usually combine them all into one but we are celebrating separately this year.
My sister just moved into a new house and is going to invite us all over and cook dinner for us. Isn't that just the sweetest - she has been so good to honor me as a mother ever since I had my son. I hope I can be as good to her when she becomes a mother!
