Blogger's Challenge #68 and WT187 Combo.

I will start by saying that I have three favorite colors- one of which is purple and has nothing to do with this post, but the other two are red and black. Put them together with white and you have stunning in my opinion! What a wonderful inspiration piece Lisa found for us this week. I love it. And you all know it is not often that I say I love one of my cards, but I really love this one. I combined it with the Ways To Use it challenge-monograms. I have never made a monogram card before! I don't really understand the theory of them? Why do I want to send a card to someone else with my initials on it?? I would love to understand this craze. I get it when it is pertaining to a wedding but that is the only time. Oh well, I had fun with this card and I actually like it. Maybe I will put it in a frame and hang it in my craft room?? Tee Hee, I know I won't be sending it to anyone, lol.

Here is the inspiration.....

And of course this is my card....

I wish I could get a clearer picture. It looks great on the original picture but when I resize it it gets a bit fuzzy . Frustrating.

Stamps: BoHo Friend Wheel, retired Doodle Alpha
Paper: Real Red Textured Card Stock, Basic Black and Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black and Real Red
Other: 4 different circle punches, the scallop circle punch, white gel pen, scor pal, red ribbon, red prima and white brad.

Fun challenge!

MJ, I don't truly understand monogram cards either, but your card is amazing. Your paper is perfect and I love how you did your intials. Great card. Definately frame it.

Darling card! I'm right with you on the monograms even though I got talked into the Just Rite and I love the ability to create my sentiment, I should have skipped the monogram set ;-)
